This was my 1st time for this chain and have been wanting to try it out. Several comments to share. The young lady that took our order, a POC, was outstanding! I went to the beverage area and dispensed myself some unsweetened Tea and as I went to drink it, it had the same smell as old stagnant water. It was disgusting, I poured it out and dispensed myself some more tea and it had the same repugnant odor. I took it to the cashier and she smelled the same thing. She then took it over to a woman whom I assume was her Manager and the manager balked at it, refused to smell it and she did nothing about it. She basically ignored the whole situation, turned back and went about her business. The young lady at the cashier totally took command, offered a clean cup and instructed me. to help myself to a different type of beverage. We had ordered 2 beverages but the other member in my party didn’t want any part of th beverage area. So the young lady who took our order came over and offered an extra side for the inconvenience. This young lady was the epitome of Customer Service and she should be recognized for that. I would come back to this location because of her. As far as the manager. I would never come back to this location because of her inaction and complete dismissal of us, her customers. order arrived Half of it.. Here is the Great thing I call the store even though it is through Uber just wanted to let them know “BTW the Uber driver mucked up the orders” I get Steve the owner on the phone by chance..
Let me explain something when a Restaurant goes with a meal delivery they are not responsible for the driver, or the driver mixing up orders and should not be.
But Steve went above and Beyond, way beyond actually I had hit the buttons in Uber Eats , tried to call the driver, and sent the refund form already.. Now Steve is out the money for the order as Uber Eats does not hold their Drivers accountable at all.
Steve knowing this Still wanted to make things right, He cooked the right food and we went to pick it up, he Went above and beyond.. He could have told me to kick rocks take it up with Uber Eats, he did the right thing even when it cost him money, they already had our Weekly order on Sundays because they do chicken right. They now have garnered my respect, as well as making me want to ensure I Stop in to this location more than just once a Week.

Read moreWe ordered a 16 piece meal with our sides and one extra side. We only one side and the buns were cold and hard. I called and Lacey was the manager and was rude. At the end of the conversation she said she will only replace the missing sides. The next day, I drove all the way back out there to get my sides so we can finish eating the leftovers. I pulled up to the window and an employee opened the window and just said “yes?” I told him what happened and he just closed the window, no response. Lacey answered the window and said, you are the one missing the side? I said yes and before I could say anything else, she slammed the window closed. 10 minutes later another employee cane to the window and gave me my sides. I ordered two more sides and this employee was nice and helpful. She apologized for how Lacey reacted to me. I paid for my other sides and left. I will NOT go back to this Chicken Express, no customer service or professionalism. Young kids just standing around on there phones and no cares given. Obviously.
