We booked a dinner reservation here after a day at Glen Ivy, hoping to wait out traffic before heading home and it turned out to be the perfect choice. For a newly opened restaurant, they’re already killing it! With so many great reviews, we were excited to check it out, and it absolutely delivered.
The space is roomy with a warm, inviting ambiance. There’s a bar with plenty of seating too. We had a party of six, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They gave us a cozy booth and we were lucky to have Jacki as our server she was amazing! Handling a big group isn’t always easy, but she did it like a pro, all while flashing a bright, friendly smile. She gave great recommendations and confidently told us that “everything is good,” and honestly, she wasn’t wrong.
Here’s what we ordered:
Grilled Artichoke – We order this dish everywhere we go, and this version was one of the best. Simple, flavorful, and done right. Crispy Shrimp – Not my personal favorite, but the rest of the table loved it and it was gone in minutes. Brussels Sprout- the whole table shared this, it was good. French Onion Rib Eye – My boyfriend ordered this and said it was incredibly tasty. Maple Salmon – Another hit at the table; reported as delicious. Linguine & Black Tiger Prawns – My friend had her heart set on this dish, even though I mentioned some reviews said it was overly oily. She asked Jacki if the chili oil could be served on the side, and it worked out perfectly. So if you’re eyeing this dish, just request the oil on the side problem solved!Double Cut Duroc Pork Chop – My boyfriend’s brother ordered this and devoured the entire plate. Miso Black Cod – This was my pick, and I thought the fish was cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the overwhelming amount of fennel salad it sat on such an overkill maybe if they toned that down, the cod would shine even more.
Overall, we had a great experience. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and attentive. If you’re in the area, definitely give this...
Read moreWe visited Cisco for the first time on Saturday, May 3. From the moment we walked in until the end of our meal, we could find no fault with anything. Our server, Toni, was upbeat and full of great suggestions. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was upscale casual, just right for those in Corona wanting something more than yet another Mexican chain restaurant.
I ordered the Duroc pork chop. It was perfectly cooked; tender and not in the least bit chewy or tough, not easy to do with a double-cut chop. The corn creme brulee was amazing and the perfect compliment. By the end of the meal, we were already planning what to order on our next visit.
If I had any criticisms, it would be the very small one that there was no sort of bread basket or dinner bread on offer, but given the outstanding quality of everything else, it's a really not that material.
Cisco, we beg you, please be around for a long time to come. Corona needs a great steakhouse like this one!
Made our second visit to Cisco and it was just as amazing as before. Shout out to Sierra for excellent service!
Decided to try the Filet with Au Gratin potatoes. The steak was cooked flawlessly, with the perfect amount of seasoning and a medium rare temperature throughout. The Au Gratins were what all potatoes hope to be when they grow up.
In addition, we enjoyed the Brie with Bacon Onion Jam as a starter and the Coconut Mango Panna Cotta for dessert. Both are highly recommended.
Cicso, please stay around!...
Read moreCame here for the first time with family for a nice family dinner after a long week. We absolutely loved our dinner experience. My mom and I got the prickly pear margarita and it was so yummy but on the sweeter side, which I didn’t mind. We ordered some appetizers: the baked brie, crispy rice with ahi tuna, and deviled eggs. They were all SO good, but my favorite was the crispy tuna rice. For dinner we ordered some filet mignons and a chicken Caesar salad and got a side of truffle fries and au gratin potatoes. The filets were cooked to perfection and so flavorful. The potatoes were so yummy and flavorful as well. We loved the ambience and decor of the restaurant. We also had such a great experience with the staff members. Samuel was so attentive, welcoming and such a hard worker throughout the night, always checking in on us and clearing up any dishes or refilling our waters right away. Our server Rony was excellent as well, very attentive, friendly, and always checked up on us to make sure we were well. Ashley was so sweet and welcoming and prepared our drinks so fast and they were very delicious. Such a great experience at Cisco restaurant & bar, will definitely be returning many more times! Definitely check this new restaurant out whether it’s for date night, family dinner, etc, you will not be disappointed. So happy with our experience at...
