I'm only giving one star because there wasn't an option for zero. My family and I had a terrible experience with this restaurant on Saturday 4/15/17. We reserved their party room about 3-4 weeks prior and the manager that helped us set that up was great! He was very friendly and answered all the questions my Mom and I had. So we reserved the room from 12-4. We figured we could decorate and set up the first hour and our guests could get there at 1.
From the moment my Mom arrived (and me shortly after) the woman (who I assume was the manager) treated us terribly. First off, my Mom had requested they vacuum the floors before we arrive because we were going to have toddlers who will no doubt be crawling and sitting on the floor. We were told that wasn't an issue. But when my Mom arrived the floors were filthy and so were 5 of the 7 tables. They had crumbs and were sticky. So she reminded them and asked them to take of it.
That's when the manager told my Mom we would have to leave the party room by 1:30 because another party was coming. Immediately she fought that because we reserved it almost a month prior from 12-4. And that's when the major attitude started. When asked about vacuuming the floors we were told their vacuum was broken and all they could do was sweep. So we asked them to sweep. Then when the tables were still sticky and covered with crumbs I went and asked them to clean the tables. The gentleman that I talked to went right away to help but the woman at the same time came out and had an expression like "what do you want now?!" She also blatantly ignored my husband when he went to ask for another high chair. She looked at him and then proceeded to ignore him until one of the other employees came to ask what he needed. Another example, when she brought out the stack of plates for our party she slammed them down on the table. Overall, we were met with dramatic sighs when we had a request or question, to eye rolls and major attitude.
Also every single high chair was broken. 2 high chairs the straps were broken and did not buckle and 2 of them had very loose backings.
This was supposed to be a fun and exciting experience, since it was my daughter's 1st birthday party. However our experience was instead very disappointing and upsetting from the way we were treated.
And it gets WORSE. On Monday my Mom called corporate to give a complaint. The woman she spoke to wrote up a report and was very nice and said we would hear back within a couple days. Well they had sent a copy of the report it the store and within a couple hours my Mom received a call from a manager there. Who's first response was that we never had a reservation to begin with. Which is a lie because they called my Mom to confirm our reservation the night beforehand. When it was obvious the lady didn't want to do anything to help my Mom let her know we would leaving a negative review. To which the lady asked if there was anything she could do for us. My Mom paid $174.36 on this party. Thats a lot of money for how we were treated. She told the lady what she spent and that maybe a small refund would help make up for our terrible experience and service. To Which the lady responded with "No I can't just take money out of my own pocket. I can give you a free pizza next time you come in".
My family has been going to Round Table for the last 30 years. And it's sad they've lost customers from this. We are still waiting to hear from corporate to see if anything more will be done. I'll post an update if anything changes. But so far we are very unhappy with our services on saturday and do not plan on going back to...
Read moreThis is arguably the worst pizza place in Corona CA, especially when you consider the price. Let me explain. About 3 months ago I called and ordered for delivery, after waiting 1 1/2 hours, I decided to call, they had no clue where my pizza was at, they told me they would call me back.
After another 20 minutes I decided to give them another call, this time I talked to the manager.. he was nice, but he said that he had no clue what had happened, and put me on a brief hold. When he got on the phone he told me that my pizza was delivered to the wrong place...he apologized and told me he would remove the price of one of the pizzas, and would have fresh ones sent to us...(by the way that credit on my debit card never happened).
To my surprise 15 minutes after hanging up with the manager the door bell rang...I was shocked on how quickly my new pizzas had come...but I opened the door to find out the delivery driver went back to the house he delivered my original pizzas, took it from them and was now bringing me cold pizza, that God knows who touched. I told him, "no thanks my replacement is coming" and he laughed and said...I'm the only driver...he was right, he went and got my pizzas and delivered about 20 mins after. The pizza was mediocre at best, I asked for extra cheese and they didn't even do that.
Now to today....I decided to give them another chance, this time I ordered online, thankfully I got my pizza within 60 minutes... when the driver got there, he asked me to look at the pizzas... when I asked him why, he said "I just delivered the wrong pizza to someone else and I had to drive back and replace it"...LMAO...incredable...
This time, their delivery was not why I was pushed to write this review...It was because the horrendous quality of my 2 medium pizzas, ($50 total waste ) stale and cold pizza, I also indicated lite sauce and extra cheese on one of my pizzas... they did the complete opposite, we got almost no cheese and loads of sauce....
It was bad, it's sad because Round Table is typically good...but this place is horrible...it may be better dining in, but after reading all of the reviews I'm not sure why anybody would consider this place. Go to Lamppost on...
Read moreThey should get 5 stars but they got 3 for price and customer service. I tried calling to place in order. 1st call I was put on hold for 3 minutes then the call automatically hung up on me. Called back a 2nd time and got put on hold again. Call automatically hung up again after 5 minutes. I never even spoke to a representative. So I decided to drive down there because its not to far from my home. I get there and it's not even packed. I place my order for a large pizza, the total for just the pizza was $28! $28 for a large pizza ? So I guess I'll tell you guys how the pizza was after I finish filling out these forms for pulling out a second mortgage on my house just to pay for the pizza
UPDATE 03/16/24:
So I decided to give this place another try. Placed my order online through the website. $28 for a one topping large pizza. Expensive but I'm willing to pay extra for better quality. I scheduled it for pickup 1 hour in advance to give them plenty of time. I show up 5 minutes early and notice there's one cashier trying to correct mistakes on the orders of the 3 people in line ahead of me. No big deal. Finally get up to the counter and guess what? Pizza isn't ready. Guy tells me its in the oven should be out in 5 minutes. Fast forward 15 minutes later and its finally ready. Kids running around everywhere screaming, some with no shoes on, parents nowhere in sight. Sorry but I won't be coming here anymore. Customer service is terrible and food...
