Food is consistently good, service is quick but they constantly leave paid for items out, that I have always let slide, like tortillas for all the plates, we are family of 5 or chips and salsa that I pay for since our food is always to go. 1x Enchilada plate 1x Mexican plate 1x Burrito plate 1x Gordita 1x shredded chicken 1x 10oz salsa

Not a difficult order but somehow the enchilada plate was left out, $10+. I called and wanted my money back for the plate - not the whole order $47, just for the missing plate, since I didn't want to drive the 10+m back when I could walk to El Potro and back in less time. The drive thru lady insisted that she put the whole order in right and instead, finally told me to bring the order back and they'd just refund my order. I was blown away by this, as a business owners ourselves we never would or have handled issue in this manner but fine I put everything back - down to every salt, pepper and salsita and drove the order back. Then, whom I'd assume is, the manager on duty came to the window to ask what happen. I explained to her everything, she asked but only the enchilada plate was missing to which I said yes, but now I brought everything back at the request of your window lady, when I just wanted the plate refunded, so at this point, I just wanted my money back and was refunded. We will take our business back to El Potro.

Original review - Great food, fast service - this is our go to...

Well I had my 1st bad experience here yesterday. I ordered a migas plate w double beans w a banana liquado, $18 for breakfast! I was asked if I wanted it mexicana- I stated very firmly I do not. I was splitting this meal w my grandson who's a year & a half & can't have jalapeños or peppers yet. When I got to my daughter's it had everything in it & no extra beans, this was at 11:10 am. I called at 5pm to speak to a manager & complain, when I had my hands free as I had a toddler ALL DAY. The man I spoke w told me to call tomorrow around the same time I picked up my food to speak to the morning manager. I called at 11:50 am & was told repeatedly that I didn't call in the morning that I called too late???? I informed the lady I spoke w that I eat here about once a week or 2 weeks for YEARS & also refer ppl to this place & if they didn't make it right that I would give them a bad review & no longer refer them as well as lose a loyal patron. I was told ok go ahead... so here I am. $18 is a lot for 1 meal for me & I'm ok w paying that for good service & what I asked for... Bye bye Hacienda!

I've eaten here for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Everyone in my family loves it no matter what we get. A favorite is the street tacos & the hacienda nachos w fajita. I love that they have healthy options, I get fresh fruit instead of potatoes w my breakfast, the avocado is always great w...

I was really disappointed with my recent visit. My tacos were served cold, and while the service started off fine, it quickly changed once I asked about the extra charges on my receipt.

First, I was charged a fee for using my own debit card something I wasn’t told about beforehand.

Then, my daughter ordered a child’s root beer, which they charged as a bottle, even though we never received a bottle. When I asked the cashier, the explanation was that they poured the “same amount from a bottle” into a cup, which makes no sense if it wasn’t actually a bottled drink and from their fountain soda.

And the biggest surprise: a $2 charge for complimentary chips. When I questioned it, the cashier said it was because we walked in before 12pm, and chips aren’t served before then. However, we were seated before 12pm which is understandable, and asked about chips after 12pm. So essentially, we were charged for chips that should’ve been complimentary just because of our arrival time.

Overall, the food was less than mediocre and cold, and the way the extra charges were handled felt misleading.

Definitely review your receipt before paying. This will be our last time coming to this...
