The Ranch — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

I have waited for three years for my man to dance with me and he agreed to do the dance lessons with me at The Ranch. We had a great time except for being ripped off by the bartender. We ran a tab and when I went to tab out he just gave me a credit card slip to sign. I asked may I have an itemized statement of what we ordered. He said I can tell you what you ordered. He said you got seven Dos Equis, a shot of crown and a crown and sprite. I said we did not order a crown and sprite. We order a shot of crown and a sprite. I said besides the shot was not a shot. He put a tiny bit (like you would get at a liquor tasting) in a plastic shot cup. He said he could give me my four dollars back for that. When I returned to the table I told my boyfriend what he said and he said there was no crown in the sprite. I smelled it and tasted it and there was nothing in it but sprite. I was going too go back and address it with the bartender and he said just forget about it. We were both really upset. We really wanted to make this our place to go for dancing but we don’t want to get ripped off. On top of that there is hardly a beer selection and the beers we did order were like water. I wish I could rate negative 10 stars. The barback was extremely rude and ripped a receipt out of my friends hand as she was writing it they gave me attitude for just ASKING how much a drink was. The owner wasn’t any help either. This place is truly trash ghetto. Don’t ever pay card and hold a tab just pay cash otherwise they’ll charge you insane prices and won’t show you an actual receipt of what you ordered. Just a total. I even gave the Eli a chance to fix it and he did NOTHING. Sad because I used to come every weekend. Never again.

Bonus we watched shot girls purposely only go up to underage minors and serve them alcohol. So a good place for children then!!

Dirty and limited information online as I was from out of town visiting. The bathroom smelled like urine badly. The bar it's self was dingy and dirty. Every single table had a reserved paper on it and no where on their Facebook or website (that looks though it hasn't been updated since like October or November) didn't say you needed a reservation, so there was absolutely no where to sit. Unless you had a table reserved, you were standing in a corner. The only positive of this bar was the very nice and friendly bartender we got a drink from, I believe her name was Kylie.
