I’ve been super excited to try this place. The sandwiches are good. The ingredients are good. The bread is good. However, that is a very expensive sandwich to order for lunch. I ordered the “big muff“. A local version of a Louisiana muffaletta sandwich. Typically the sandwich is served hot. The one I received was ice cold. Three minutes in a toaster would’ve made a world of difference for that sandwich. My sandwich was $21. After gratuity, about $24 out the door for a single take out sandwich. WOW! The cheapest item on their menu is a half deli sandwich for $10. They are new and have only been open a couple of weeks. So maybe I will try them again after they’ve been in business while. But right now I would consider this restaurant and extravagance, not a place to order daily lunch.

Such a great time! I came here with some family to celebrate my birthday, and we had a great time! We got cheesy garlic bread to start and it was so good, I especially liked the fact that they did not skimp out on the garlic. I got their "French dip" style sandwich and it blew me away! The others that I ate with are notorious for taking many things off of their choices when we come to restaurants but no one took anything off because the sandwiches were balanced so well with all the ingredients. It was just the right amount of food, a bit spendy but worth it for the quality of the food and ingredients!

Swan Dive has the best sandwiches in town, no one else even comes close. With that said, the rest of their menu is also excellent. The weekday specials are especially good. The happy hour menu, served 2-6pm, Mon-Thurs rocks on a budget too. Oh, did I mention that Joe, the owner, smokes the meat in a big ol' smoker out back? Pretty important detail I almost left out. As far as service goes, its immaculate. Mattie is about as good as they come. Quick service, friendly, funny, and makes a mean cocktail. What more could someone want?

For those of you complaining about the prices, come during happy hour! Great good, great quality, great service, reasonable prices. Favorite drink: Basil Smash. We tried three; the Shrub marks the spot and the Paloma, and all three were fantastic. The Shrub was surprisingly spicy, but not unpleasant. Paloma is a fancy margarita. Favorite food: Gazpacho with bread and oil. I wish this dish came with balsamic in the oil. We also tried the 1/2 Italian sampler and the special smoked sausage plate (I could have licked the mustard up before he took the pass plate away!). All three were fantastic! I can't wait to try the sandwiches! We've needed a place like this in town...
