Gina's Pizza — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

Gina’s Pizza Harbor Blvd. Costa Mesa, CA Gina’s Pizza is pretty yummy pizza.. but this review ISN’T ONLY about how OBVIOUSLY DELICIOUS THEIR PIZZA IS....ESPECIALLY when their competitors specialty is in making synthetic pizza for $5. Yes, Gina’s is also part of a chain of Pizzeria’s but unlike Round Table, Papa John’s, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, and Little Cesar’s (just to name a few), Gina’s started off as an individual mom and pop pizzeria and even though it has grown in popularity, unlike most places, Gina’s Pizza stayed true to their ingredients and methods of pizza baking. From their Calzones to their extra large pizza’s and everything else in between is dangerously delicious. Except, we all know about all of the above. What I’d like to share with my fellow “Googlers” are the things that not only a consumer can benefit from but also business owners, managers, CEO’s, recruiters partners etc., who are constantly looking for that special person who has more than what they’re looking for; customer service, dedication, ambition, and above all, that special personality that generates a warm welcoming atmosphere, regardless of how tired they are or however busy things get, their ebullient personality creates this overwhelming ripple effect, of positivity that above all, in my opinion, deserves to be RECOGNIZED APPRECIATED and THANKED FOR. Over at Gina’s Pizza on Harbor Blvd, Nicole, (otherwise known as “Macole”, by her daughter) and her team are not just dedicated to serving outstanding food, but they’re just as devoted to making sure their customers are happy regardless if why’re picking up food or dining in. They’re not driven by tips, but they certainly deserve them for their authentic, kind, friendly dispositions, and for always going above beyond effortlessly. Dining there feels like home in the best way imaginable.

I have nothing but the greatest things to say about Nicole and her staff at Gina’s Pizza. Too many people write reviews with the intention of sharing the worst experiences. It is my belief that you’ll never be able to appreciate a beautiful garden if all you’re focusing on are the weeds. “With the right perspective the grass is never greener on the other side, it’s always the greenest right where your standing.”

So, it is my honor and privilege to share with my fellow “Googlers” where they can go to find the best experiences for themselves. This is my way of passing the positivity forward!

☆ I KNOW THIS IS LONG! ☆ But it's worth the read! 😬 Sometimes the experience at a restaurant isn't always about the food! Yes! It's important to get good food for your hard earned money! But sometimes it's the employees that TRULY makes a BIG difference! I had a late work day. I'm single and didn't feel like cooking because I was tired. I called a single friend of mine and he joined me for dinner. It is Taco Tuesday! But I wasn't in the mood for Mexican food. It seems like I had eaten it too many times this past week. I was REALLY having a craving for Italian food! Spaghetti 🍝 in particular! I told my buddy, and he suggested Gina's Pizza and Pasta in Corona del Mar! So off we went! 🚗 💨 When we got there, it looked like they were closing the dining room. (Chairs on the tables) Ugh! We didn't feel like getting it To-Go! Well... That's where "THE" employee comes in... DAVE TODD was nice enough to let us sit and eat! He was beyond kind and truly made us feel like it was no problem! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Dave is a SUPER nice guy! You really do feel like family here! No kidding! Oh yeah... AND... The spaghetti was off the charts! It was DELICIOUS! 🍝 😋 Pink sauce, sausage, and garlic toast! Yum! ALL the employees were incredibly nice! And I mean ALL of them! One guy was going home for the night and when he was leaving, he waved to my friend and I and said: "Good night, guys! Thanks for coming in!" Blew me away! Who does that these days? It seems like customer service is a thing of the past! But not at Gina's! I'll be back again and again and again and again and again! I saw SO MANY great things on the menu that I want to try! A great BIG THANKS to the owners of this fine establishment for hiring...
