I first discovered this restaurant when I came across some beautiful food pics on instagram. Looked it up and brought one of my best friends here for his birthday dinner. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Everything inside looks brand new and is very clean. We sat at the sushi bar, ordered the 8 piece sushi omakase and it was in incredible. Included an appetizer, 8 pieces of sushi, soup, and a dessert. The order the food came out in was perfect. I eat sushi at least 1 to 3 times per month, have taken a sushi making class in Japan, and refuse to settle for mediocre Japanese food. This place is now in my top 3 favorite sushi restaurants in North America of all time. Definitely coming back soon.
Here’s the order the food came out in.

If you’re looking for exceptional sushi with quality that truly stands out, Sushi K Bistro is the place to go. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear they take their craft seriously. The fish here is insanely fresh—every bite melts in your mouth and tastes as though it was just pulled from the ocean.
One standout feature is their dedication to quality ingredients. Unlike many places that use substitutes, Sushi K Bistro exclusively uses bluefin tuna in all their tuna rolls and sashimi. The rich, buttery flavor of the tuna alone is worth the visit! And for those who are tired of the imitation crab trend, you’ll be happy to know they don’t use it here. Everything feels elevated and authentic.
Our experience was made even better by Luke, our server, who deserves a special shoutout. He was attentive, friendly, and had excellent menu recommendations. Luke made us feel like VIPs, and his knowledge of the menu and enthusiasm for the restaurant’s offerings really enhanced our meal.
Sushi K Bistro has set the bar high, and it’s officially one of my go-to spots for sushi. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or just looking for a fresh and satisfying meal, this place will...
Read moreI ordered the chefs special sashimi, the lamb chops, the chicken and green onion, and had a bite of the duck skewer.
The sashimi had a total of 5 cuts, from left to right being salmon, scallops, bluefin tuna, smoked octopus, and amberjack. Unfortunately, it may have been an off day for them, because I wasn't seeing the wonderful praise other reviewers gave this place.
I almost always order salmon first at any sushi place I go to, because it's got a distinct flavor and from that alone, I can tell the quality of it. This salmon was very bland in flavor, as if it was frozen too long and the flavor disappeared. Scallops too had a lighter flavor than usual. Ironically, I usually don't like bluefin tuna too much, but because the flavor was lighter, I enjoyed this one more. Smoked octopus was okay but I'm not too big of a fan of it, and the amberjack was okay but also more bland.
Now the lambchops had a great presentation to them, and tasted really good, with the Wasabi mixture it came with. Easily the best part of the meal, and would have ordered only this if I knew ahead of time.
The chicken skewer was okay, a bit bland, and mainly carried by the spice powder...
