TLDR: worker went from making sandwiches to cashier and back to sandwiches without switching gloves (as required by the Department of Health) and ignored me/refused to switch gloves when I raised my concern
Came in to pick up an order rather than waiting on an Uber eats driver to come from Inver grove (no biggie, it’s new years.)
When I talked to the cashier (short black chick) about getting a refund for the delivery fee because I picked it up, she was cool and gave me my refund.
However, she kept her gloves on and went right back to making food without switching gloves. I tried to raise my concern with her and was straight up ignored even after I said “okay I guess we’re just ignoring me”
I asked if the older guy was the manager and he said they didn’t have a manager today because it’s new years. I raised my concern with him, and his response went from him also ignoring me to “we’re busy,” and to “email if I had a concern” (after I asked where the manager was).
I have cancer and am immunocompromised. I don’t care how busy you are, it takes 10 seconds to switch your gloves. I don’t care if you claim to have “just wiped everything down.” Food safety is a simple concept, and the department of health is clear that you need to change gloves when switching tasks.
The fact that multiple workers tried to just ignore me and hope I’d leave (and STILL not switching gloves!) is ridiculous and short staffing due to a holiday...
Read moreTHIS LOCATION IS THE WORST OF MY EXPERIENCES WITH JIMMY JOHNS. THE MANAGER JOSH IS VERY RUDE, AND DOESNT SEEM TO WANT TO WORK AT ALL. HE GIVES THE JIMMY JOHNS A BAD NAME. AFTER ORDERING TWICE ON TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, HE WAS RUDE BOTH TIMES. I WOULD GO ON, AND ON ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE, BUT NOT WORTH THE TIME. HE WAS RUDE ON THE PHONE, HUNG UP TWICE, AND HE TOLD THE EMPLOYEE TO HANG UP ON ME THE THIRD TIME, ON FIRST ORDER, BUT YESTERDAY, HE WAS RUDE AGAIN, CLAIMING HE COULDN'T HEAR ME, HE HAD MUSIC GOING ON IN THE BACKGROUND, AND I ASKED HIM TO TURN IT DOWN, SO HE COULD HEAR ME, THIS WAS IGNORED. THEN WHEN THE DRIVER GOT THERE, HE TOLD ME THAT HIS MANAGER SAID, "WE DON DELIVER HERE UNLESS ITS A GROUP ORDER, AND i WAS LUCKY , THAT WE BROUGHT IT THIS TIME". This isn't true, i work at the 3M here in cottage Grove, and ordered interdependently multiple times, along several other employees. This manager Josh, is going to turn away much business, with his attitude and poor commitment to customer service. very disappointed, and this guy shouldnt be a manager for such an...
Read moreOrdered 2 subs for delivery for the Vikings/Packers game yesterday. Called in after an hour of waiting and said it would be another hour to get our subs. I had to laugh out loud to the guy on the phone and said well, that is ridiculous and that you should change your slogan from "freaky fast" to "snail pace slow". I said to cancel my order so he put me on hold because the manager had to do that. I waited 5 minutes on hold so hung up and called back and the manager answered. Told her that I was waiting to speak to her and she said, "well we voided your order". She also said, "I have 150 sandwiches to make and I'm the only person here." I said, I will take my business elsewhere then and drove to Subway for a delicious Sub! Maybe the manager should plan ahead next time, especially when it's Football Sunday when you may expect a large call and online volume of orders? This is now the 3rd time this has happened on where it is taking well over an hour and me calling in, so I am done with JJ in the Grove....
