Loved it!! The sandwiches are huge! And so good. The chipotle aioli is awesome. The fries are so tasty!!! Best fries we’ve had in awhile outside of Red Robin! Even the frites in Amsterdam can’t compare!! The deli is in the back of the first floor of an office building but it’s super clean, the whole building is clean. You have to walk through it to get to the bathrooms which are, you guessed it! CLEAN!! lol They have a great patio. A parking garage. Traffic isn’t too noisy. There’s a fence of very healthy wisteria buffering. We were visiting from Denver for the day and were coming down from an Incredible Race type visit to most of the ski areas in the area and were starving! Knickerbocker’s had great reviews and was about 3 minutes away from where we were! So glad we stopped! You should too!

Knickerbocker’s Deli is truly a hidden gem tucked away in the Old Mill Office Building. Definitely off the beaten path, but absolutely worth the effort to find. On my first visit, I had the Swiss and Ham sandwich and was immediately impressed. The second time around, I went for the French Dip and was completely blown away — tender, flavorful, and perfectly executed. What really sets both sandwiches apart is the baguette. Seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. Lightly crisp on the outside, soft and chewy inside — the kind of bread that makes a sandwich unforgettable. If you’re anywhere near this part of Salt Lake, Knickerbocker’s Deli is a must-try. Don’t let the office-building location fool you. This place is doing sandwiches on a whole different level.

Just ate the best burrito of my entire life, made fresh at Knickerbockers. Steak burrito, with hashbrowns, tomato, cheese, and I subbed in house-made chipotle aioli, and from the first bite to the last, I was MAD. Mad I’ve been missing out my whole life. 15/10 stars. So good. The chips and salsa it came with were a nice touch, and cookie too, but they were standard cafe fare. But their chipotle mayo… Legendary. Finding it is weird bc it’s in a commercial office space, and parking is therefore odd (free garage near the building entrance). And the layout is confusing bc you walk in to the side entrance and have to find the counter. Looks and feels like an NYC deli. But I will definitely be coming back for that steak burrito with chipotle mayo.

I've ordered food from here before, and the food is great, the service, not so much. First time I ordered food from them with a couple coworkers, our food took over an hour and a half to be delivered to our building next door, and we were given no warning, discount or apology. Next time I ordered was great. Third time I ordered the food, it was not made correctly. When I called to order the food I was hung up on, so I called back. I called after the food was delivered and asked if they were out of a certain product because the sandwich I had ordered was made wrong, they said they weren't and that they had made it correctly even though it was right in front of me and I could obviously see that it wasn't made correctly. They told me to bring the sandwich down and they would give me a new one. I explained that I couldn't as I was at work and was having to even work through my lunch. They hung up on me. I called back at this point very irritated and asked to speak with the manager. Told the manager that I had just called to discuss my sandwich that I had ordered and that I had been hung up on. He said, "Yeah that was me, I hung up on you." I told him it is extrememly rude to hang up on a customer and then asked to speak with the regional manager, he told me he's the only one, that my sandwich was made correctly, and that he was very busy, and then hung up on me again. I will not be visiting this restaraunt again, even though I love the food. The food is great, they need...

My family and I came in when there was 15 minutes left until they were going to be closed. We apologize for coming in so close to closing time. The girl that took our order was very rude in response. She seems like she was upset that we came in and rushed us to order. She was very rude in response to my husband’s questions. She was even tapping her fingernails on the counter while she was waiting for us to order. There was even another customer bringing in her mother to see if she needed anything and the same girl went to the register, tapping your fingers and frustration. The other people ended up not getting anything. When our food was ready, she slammed it on the counter. Honestly, the worst service we have ever gotten in a public restaurant. So for anybody that goes in there and talks to the girl that has like magenta hair with things and a tattoo of Groot on her forearm. Be careful, make sure you don’t go in the last 15 minutes. But other than that, the food is great! The...

I think this place is terrible. I work near Knickerbockers and unfortunately it's the closest place to grab something to eat. Their food is sub par and overpriced. Their service sucks as well. I ordered Nachos there the other day without meat and nacho cheese. I just wanted regular shredded cheese. When I got my order, the cheese was completely uncooked.... as in they hadn't even heated it all. I took it up to them to let them know they forgot to cook it, and they looked at me like I was crazy. He said "Oh yeah, well you didn't want meat and you didn't want nacho cheese, and that is how your cheese would have melted." ARE YOU KIDDING ME? If I don't want nacho cheese, put the damn nachos in the oven for a few minutes to heat them up. That was the most ridiculous thing. How can you think that when a customer orders nachos, that you will scatter some uncooked cheese on top of chips and...
