The friendliest bar staff I have ever seen! The atmosphere is classy yet laid back and the drinks are OUTSTANDING!!! My wife and I happened in one Sunday afternoon last Fall as we were out wandering and spent the rest of the NFL season there watching football. My wife doesn't care much for "sports bars" and loves the Trio menu (which is also served at Elixir) and I got to watch my Sunday Ticket games while kicking back on one of Elixir's leather couches. We had such a great time, we started going up on date night as well and were pleased to find a lot of live local acoustic music playing every weekend followed by D.J.'s as the night progressed. It was a little hard to find the first time but it's easiest to turn in off of 6200 South (Cottonwood Canyon Road) and wind back down the hill about a half block. If you've been to Trio, it's literally next door. (they even share a door) I can't say enough good things about the vibe of this place from the staff to the funky feel inside and the live music. Definitely a place that the area has been lacking for...
Read moreElixir Bar & Grill is a True Gem. We have visited Elixir in Jan. the last three years on ski trips. Each and every year, owners Andrew & Steve have added on and improved it. They've managed to create a drinking establishment that has one foot in the classic local bar, and the other in a high class, comfortable lounge. Bartenders, Kylee and DJ are warm & personable. This year's addition of Kyle, the new chef, and the new kitchen is something special. While the Martini's, crisp fresh local beers are on point; with Kyle's vision and attention to detail, the food is simply "Off The Hook" excellent. We had the "Special" Cuban sandwich with onion rings, they're tempura battered, light and delicate. The best we've ever had. The chicken wings are also exceptional, large, meaty and tender. While the new menu is still under development, with Kyle's creativity and passion, Elixir's has a bright future. It's a beautifully decorated bar and grill. I Highly...

Chicago takeover! With all of our out-of-town wedding guests staying at a nearby hotel, Elixer was within walking distance for everyone to meet up. Elixer and their staff was able to handle our large group of loud mouthed crazy drinkers with no problems at all. (We had experienced slower than normal service and inadequacy at previous bars due to the group size and Utah’s drinking restrictions). Elixer followed all the rules and still accommodated everyone just as if we were at home. Not only that but post wedding day they invited us back, set up a Bloody Mary and mimosa bar, hired a DJ for the day and decorated!! They have not only great lunch items but good breakfast as well. Everyone in our party, friends and family loved not only the details but the great food and drinks Elixer provided. Top notch service from their manager Andrew for...
