Country Pride — Restaurant in Council Bluffs

Very understaffed. Restaurant had one waitress and one cook (apparently the cook was a new kid that had just started to top it off) Waited an hour for a Togo order, and the quality of the food Iooked like one of those microwavable burgers you get when you need something to eat at 2am after trucking all day and everything's closed. Order in which food was made/served was all over the place, had one dine in and one togo orders food come before mine. Only reason I gave it 3 stars and not a solid 0 was because the effort was apparent on the two employees. I was a bit salty there was no compensation/discount for the inconvenience but then again I didnt complain or give the waitress a hard time like alot of other customers did. I was really disappointed tonight. I have eaten here many times and always been totally pleased. Tonight, they were out of the steak I ordered, didn't tell me until I already had my soup and salad. They were willing to give me a different size of the same type steak but the price was much higher and they were not willing to adjust the price to match the one I had ordered. I ended up paying ten dollars for soup and salad that I would not have had except as part of my meal. Ten bucks was half of the total price of the meal I ordered! I dont normally do review, but, very long service, took more then 1 hour for a simple meal.

Update,After 1 hour I dont have te good order, dont come here, if you want to eat the same day, ohh wait theres more the second time that I ask for the right food, I had onions in the burger that I specifically ask for none. After all the trouble they didn't remove all the onion, I couldn't ask for a other sandwiches since I have work to do.

If you come this far, I really suggest u to go to any restaurants near the truck stop.
