My wife and I visited this Longhorn in Council Bluffs on 8-9-2025 around 5:30pm. We were greeted as we first entered by the friendly hostess. We were asked our seating preference then escorted to our booth. Our waiter introduced himself and took our drink order. Our bread arrived and shortly after our drinks. We ordered our food. I ordered the "9oz. Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Half-Rack Baby Back Ribs" w/a side of fries and broccoli. Our food arrived much sooner than I expected. My chicken was cooked thoroughly and was juicy at the same time. The sauce on top was very flavorful. The broccoli was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The fries were golden brown, crispy in the outside, and soft inside. The fries did not need any added salt or seasoning as they were seasoned perfectly for my taste. You might ask for light salt or no salt if you are on a low/no salt diet, as they could be considered too salty by some. The atmosphere here was much quieter than other stakehouses we have been to. (Which is what we prefer.) The lighting was a dim soft light that was just right. The seats were comfortable and everything was clean and well kept. As for our server Blake. I can't say enough good things about him and his service. Blake was very friendly from the start. He checked on us a few times to make sure we were enjoying our meal. My wife and I each had a refill of our drinks when our first was about 3/4 done without us even having to ask. All of this right as things were getting busy. Blake is by far the best server I've had while dining out, in a long time,if not, ever.

My fiancée and I love coming to Omaha for something special, like an anniversary night out or a birthday dinner at Longhorn's. This steakhouse franchise is our personal favorite and has been for about a year. The food is phenomenal. We always get the same steak cut, a 12 oz ribeye for $23, which comes with a side and drink as well. We also always get salads as our side and I have to say, their Caesar salad is so good, I don't stop eating it until it's gone, even if they bring our steaks early. Atmosphere is meh. We are not cowboys or country folk and generally hate the stereotype. The place always plays country music, which is often very depressing and filled with talk of light beer, another thing I hate. The servers are generally young white girls, which is always weird to see. I'd rather see a unique cast of characters than the hiring manager's taste in women. Overall the experience is more than worth it for the price point and general service but it's not perfect. If you like steak and Caesar salads, you'll have a great experience, but if not, don't bother.

So, this WAS our favorite place to go for a quick date. No longer. Tonight we had raw Lobster. I get it; sometimes the kitchen puts our food with mistakes; however, the way they responded was somewhat surprising. As my wife (who ate the first bite) was in the bathroom throwing up, they took $10 off of the bill. Every time we eat there, we spend about $100 and I was surprised when they said they “discounted” the meal. The manager acted as if it wasn’t that big of a deal. When I asked the manager about the $10 “discount” she said we just took the lobster off the meal and I still “had the rest of the meal.” So -$10 for the fact my wife was throwing up in the bathroom. Shocked at the response. Not going back. With prices what they are, we should expect great service.

My Husband and I have been enjoying coming to Longhorn for steaks for a longtime. But this last weekend we had an exceptionally poor experience. If i were to rate the visits prior to this one i would have given them a solid 4 almost every time. My husband ordered a well-done steak like he always does, the first one came out pretty red, so he politely asked the server to make a new steak for him because it was too red. Upon return the server brought the manager, he was not upset and didn't feel it needed to escalate to the manager so he thanked the server and cut open his steak. It was more red then the first one, so i flagged down the server again and asked him to please return the steak for my husband because it was still too rare. The manager returns with a new steak and started making excuses about how "its always going to be red near the bone." I asked how they have gotten it right every other time, or how i can cook a steak all the way through at home. He offered me a free dessert for our trouble, even though the steak on our table was still obviously red. At this point my husband was very frustrated at the way the manager had made excuses instead of trying to find a solution. I had already finished my meal 10-15 minutes before this, so we declined the dessert and just asked for a box to take the steak home so we could finish cooking it ourselves. We were charged full price for our steaks even though we never received what we ordered, were given a box, and sent on our way. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience, not just because we never received the food we had requested, but because the Manager of the restaurant continued to give excuses instead. We are not ones to avoid an establishment because of one sub par experience, but this has been the most awkward and uncomfortable meal out we...

This used to be one of our favorite places to go to for steak. I'm giving 2 stars because the steak was seasoned well. That's all I liked about our visit tonight. The past few visits have just gotten worse each time. My steak has not been cooked as I ordered it the past 5 times we have visited. I get my steak medium and it has been served to me rare the past 4 times. Tonight it was more well done than medium. We ordered chili cheese fries to start and asked for the smaller portion and for the peppers to be put on the side. We went in on a Sunday night around 8 and it was not busy at all, but we got our salads and our cheese fries about 2 minutes before our food came out. It took a very long time for our cheese fries to come out and we ordered them when we ordered our beverages. They were served to us with the peppers on them and they were the larger size, not the smaller. The waitress was very passive aggressive. She would ask how it is and walk away before we could answer. She didn't offer us refills of our beverages and she honestly only had one other table to tend to. She was irritated when we brought up the pepper issue as well. I had ordered the T-bone, which she came out about 20 minutes later to tell me I had to order something else because they were out of T-bones. I don't understand why it took so long to find out they were out of T-bones. Overall I felt like we were a bother for coming in and ruining her quiet time. I felt like all of our food just came out all at once and was thrown on us. She didn't literally throw it on us, I mean that in a figurative way. My husband and I have decided that we will no longer bother going to Longhorn. We will find another steakhouse that make us feel welcome and provides good service and food. This is very unfortunate because we were frequent customers...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Valentine’s Day Experience!

We decided on LongHorn Steakhouse for a last-minute Valentine’s Day dinner, and despite how busy it was, we had a fantastic experience! We added ourselves to the waitlist before heading over, which definitely helped—our estimated wait time was 70 minutes, but we were seated within 15-20 minutes after checking in. Not bad at all for such a busy night!

Our waitress, Naydia, was absolutely wonderful! She was so sweet, attentive, and had an incredible energy that made our experience even better. Even with the chaos of a packed restaurant, she consistently checked in on us, ensuring we had everything we needed. She was hands down one of the best servers we’ve had!

While the food took a little longer to come out (which was completely understandable given the crowd), Naydia was very apologetic—even though it wasn’t her fault—and made sure we were comfortable while waiting. She was always on top of refilling our drinks and making sure everything was just right. When our food arrived, everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! There was a small mix-up with one of my sides, but they quickly corrected it, so it wasn’t a big deal at all. My boyfriend also really enjoyed the drinks from the bar as well.

To top it all off, Naydia gave us such a warm and friendly goodbye, which we truly appreciated. Her hard work and positive attitude stood out, and she made our experience so much more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back, and we hope to have her as our waitress again. Thank you, Naydia and the team at LongHorn Steakhouse, for a great...
