I ordered a large mushroom and olive pizza and garlic bread to go on Monday. I had been here several times before, and the pizza was really good so i didn't think to check the pizza before leaving like you need to for the $5 place to the north. I got home and I was very upset to discover that all the cheese, sauce, and toppings were in the middle 3 inches of the pizza where it was super thin, and FOUR outer inches of only very thick crust where you could see the sauce had been prior to running into the middle with the cheese and toppings. Basically each slice had three thin bites of toppings and then you were left with nothing.
The garlic bread was burnt and dry with not much of a hint of garlic or butter.
The notion that a place could assume this would even be a presentable pizza, much less SERVED to any customer is beyond reproach. They sure didn't care, and surely didn't expect a customer would be angry and drive back to return it. Having to drive back to get a refund turned me off to wanting any pizza at all for the evening. Thanks for what was ultimately a huge waste of gas driving to your place twice in the span of 15 minutes. I shall...
Read moreI ate at a Mexican restaurant in the same shopping center and I was not happy with it in the past it was great but last night was. Depressing. But then I hit my old faithful, (where I wanted to go but the wife said no let's go there)so after dropping $60 on uncooked enchiladas with tiny amounts ( the soup bowl was like a teacup at a chineese restaurant) i spent $9 on a pizza that we ate on thr way home. A few years ago it would buy pizzas at 3.99 and tale them to the park to feed the homeless population that was in covina park and 3.99 would donate a pizza for every one I bought a real classy place that has low prices and cares about not only the people who eat there but cares about the community. and the less fortunate as well. I cant say enough about this place. they have other locations in west covina Baldwin park and glendora. I hope they go nation wide some day they...
Read moreI did not care for the pizza at all it was very serious and really not cooked through and I had a bowl of fettuccine alfredo and the garlic bread sticks we're made from pizza dough and didn't even remotely taste like garlic and I did want some extra alfredo sauce which they had the nerve for a small container to charge $3.50 for and it wasn't particularly good and the pasta was definitely overcooked so they may have 399 pizzas but it's not a matter of price it's a matter of taste and it is not a tasty restaurant and it's also very loud because there are a lot of kids playing games and screaming so not a place I'd recommend from the point of view of food taste nor the ambiance of...
