I came here since I was craving some pupusas, $3.75 each. I bought their chicharron (fried pork) and rueveltas which are filled with pork, beans and cheese with a side of salsa and curtido (pickled cabbage). I also got their Carne guisada ($19.99) which comes with sides of rice, beans, and salad. They also have a drink called ensalada ($7.50) which I don't see much; it's basically a fruit salad drink with chopped bits of apple and pineapple.
Their salsa was watery, more than other places I've tried. Their pupusas were hot and fresh and had a good amount of filling inside. The carne guisada was tender with large chunks of beef, not alot of sauce. The salad was crispy, the beans were fresh, and the rice was hot and fluffy.
The guy who took my order was nice, the wait time was a bit long. They have a good amount of tables and a parking...

They might not be the best pupusas ever but they fill the...
Read moreI called for a quote. I needed 100 pupusas, and some fried plantains. She quoted me $480. I asked for a breakdown and she resisted. She then said each cheese pupusa is $2.25. I wanted an order of 100 and she said that it would cost me $300. I said how can that be? She said that they're a restaurant and they have to charge tax. I said, on $2.25, tax is not .75 per pupusa. Normally, when you call a restaurant, the pricing per item goes down when you order a large quantity. She said it's the price they have, take it or leave it. Where is the customer service in that??
Better off going to El Rancho on Citrus. They sell...
