I came in at 8:40pm. Almost a full hour before they close. I also work in food service, I work at a different sandwich shop/deli so I understand exactly how it is when closing but it was almost a full hour before 9:30pm. I pull up and I see two girls looking at my car through the window visibly annoyed im there. Fine okay I understand. I walk in and the girl “Angie” looks visibly annoyed and was disrespectful. I greeted her and asked how she was. No response. Whatever thats fine. I continue to order and they had half of the ingredients put away. I apologized for the inconvenience because like I said, I also work in a similar environment. I asked “Angie” for extra pickles and she straight up ignored me until I asked again. Then I get up to the register and I ask for a medium combo. Some other girl, she had an accent I didnt get to hear a name, informs me that they already cleared the fountain drinks. Fine I just went and grabbed a sweet tea from the fridge no big deal. I tipped them to “compensate” for the inconvenience but honestly I wish that I didn’t because the service i received was just straight up disrespectful. I pull out cash to pay for my ONE sandwich and she says they cant take cash because they already counted the registers for the night. Mind you, it was still only 8:45 at the time. I didnt have any other form of payment and they looked physically annoyed that I HAD to pay in cash. Angie goes to the back after giving me attitude about the whole payment ordeal. As im walking out I hear them gossiping about me. Overall horrible experience as someone who works in the exact same environment. Its not my fault you closed too early, I was very polite and even tipped. These girls need to learn a poker face or...
Read moreI usually drive out to Subway off Route 66 in Glendora. But it was passed 8 and they were already closed. So I came to this place since it closes at 9. Ordered the #4 meat foot long on white. By the time I got home to eat, the bread was not fresh. Stale, hard and the ends of the sub's bread flaked off. As if baked but not baked. I called but since it was passed 9 there was no answer. Went the next day and explained the situation and the girl didn't believe me. I explained that my lady and I ate the center of the sandwich and left the ends. We threw away those remains. But the girl wanted me to bring the entire sandwich. I tried to explain to her that we were hungry which was the reason why we went to buy that late. But she said she had to call her manager to see what she could do. I didn't ask for a refund, I just asked for a fresh sandwich but after a while with her calling her manager. She or they agreed to a 6" sandwich, not the entire foot long. (I didn't argue nor make a scene, it was a regular conversation with the employee. Don't get me wrong.) I just won't go back, not...
Read moreI come here all the time and rarely have odd experiences like this anywhere that's why I felt the need to share this ridiculous experience. So the sandwich maker is making my sandwich turkey ham and she asks "mayo and mustard?" And I say "mayo please!" Which should translate to only mayo. Its not the fact that she put mustard on my sandwhich that made me write this. It was her solution to fix her mistake. She tried wiping the mustard off with a napkin smearing the mustard all over everything. I'm sorry but if someone doesn't ask for something on their sandwhich it is likely cause they do NOT like that. Then she asks Is that okay? I say yes cause I'm nice n don't want to get her in trouble but then I get home n realize I'm the one getting shafted for her mistake. A paying customer doesn't get what they want? I mean it would have been fine if it was the wrong cheese or meat but it was mustard... There is no undoing that. Oddest customer experience...
