Tonight was our first night dining here and the host was so nice!! That’s the only kind interaction we had the rest of the evening.. We requested outdoor seating and Mikayla was our server. We thought it was odd that she took our initial drink order between the brick/vases..if you are seated outdoors, you’ll understand..but we obliged, and she took our appetizer orders. It took 20+ minutes for our appetizers of mussels and breadsticks to come out..we noticed that the party sat next to us (and they were seated after us) had recieved complimentary bread knots while we were still waiting for our food.. She took our children’s order first before we decided on ours..and it was really minutes before our appetizers finally came out annd our kids order followed…again, It could’ve been a kitchen issue..
My husband asked if there was pork in their meatballs as he has an allergic reaction to pork..she first said it was all beef but once I said he has an allergy to pork, she said she would double check with the kitchen. He decided not to order any meat to his order and just asked for the tortellini with marinara based on the specific pasta you had (choose any type of pasta with sauce). When he got his order he was a little surprised by the presentation and the taste since it had peas in it and the sauce seemed creamy. It took over 10 minutes to flag our server down and when we explained that he requested the homemade tortellini with just plain marinara..apparently she had ordered him the tortellini special that had peas in it and after telling her what he initially ordered, she reluctantly offered to remake his food but it was so late at that point. She obviously didn’t care and we could tell she wasn’t too thrilled about having to walk some extra feet to serve us.. I really would give this place another try but another red flag for me was finding 2 separate hairs in their menu on different pages..please clean your menus and teach your servers to be more respectful.
Again, this was our first time dining here and your server said multiple times that today was the first day you offered outdoor seating and she was unhappy about the situation of getting to her tables..which makes sense that she opted to ask for our orders between the potted...
Read moreI work in sales near the Cranberry location and have very limited time for lunch. I joined the VIP Club and got a text for a digital 20% off coupon. Today I called ahead to order lunch but waited 10 minutes on hold while I got shuffled to 4 different people before someone finally came on to take my order. When I arrived at the To Go counter to pick up my food, the guy making pizzas asked for my name but made 3 more food orders while I was standing there waiting. I told him I had the digital coupon and he left the room without saying anything. A few minutes later a woman came in and demanded, "Show me this coupon!" I held up my phone to show her the text. She grabbed the phone out of my hand and looked at the screen, then said, "You have to erase that text!" I asked her what she meant and she said, "That discount is only good one time." I said, "I understand that, I just got the text today, so I'll erase it as soon as you ring me up." She gave me a nasty look and said, "WOW." I said, "What does 'WOW' mean?" She shook her head and rolled her eyes and said "WOW" twice again, then walked out of the room. Since I still didn't know if my order was ready yet, I walked out so I wouldn't waste more time (or money) on rude, clueless customer NON service. She should have rung up the order and then ASKED me to delete the text - but basically she was accusing me of planning to rip off the restaurant! No problem there, if that is how they treat the repeat customers and "VIP" members, they won't have to worry about me ever going there again, and they are minus one so-called "VIP". The food is OK but not worth the rudeness, and the place is a filthy dump most...
Read moreWell our anticipated dinner turned into a fiasco. There was a group of almost 20 of us that required two tables. Management would not let us sit at both tables until one was completely full even though it was clear people were saving spots for their friends. Consequently people were standing around trying to decide what to do as management prohibited them from sitting down at a table. Then to top it off they required one check in the beginning for the entire group. That was relaxed to five people on the check and then that turned into two people to check. Of which, you are sharing a check with a complete stranger that you had to figure out who owed what. Ridiculous!!! A few of our group got up and left and refused to be a part of a group check. Apparently the restaurant has forgotten that little less than a year ago they were begging for customers and only had a take-out order business. Instead of being grateful that we were all there wanting to enjoy a wonderful evening, a delicious dinner and a generous tip to the wait staff….. management acted like complete idiots and showed their true colors of unprofessionalism. I myself, will never be back. And I would anticipate that a lot of the others will not either. Not only did they tick Off all of us in the group but we will go out and tell others of the poor service that was displayed by management. What a shame when businesses are struggling to survive that you have complete idiots running the show. If you are considering a delicious dinner at a nice restaurant, consider another restaurant that...
