I placed an online order at 6:00 p.m. with an estimated delivery time of 6:44 p.m. By 7:07 p.m., I still hadn’t received my food, so I called to check the status. They assured me it was “out for delivery.” When I called again at 7:22 p.m., I got the same response. By this time, I had been waiting almost an hour and a half, so I asked what kind of discount they could offer for the delay. Instead of offering any compensation, the owner suggested canceling my order entirely. I explained that I have kids waiting to eat and that it was getting close to their bedtime, but she still didn’t seem concerned. Then, when I called back at 7:38 p.m., she said she’d turned the driver around, effectively canceling my order after all that time.

I’ve ordered from this place before and tried to be a loyal customer despite some minor issues, but this experience was unacceptable. Waiting nearly two hours for food, only to be met with poor customer service and no resolution, is frustrating. If you value your time and appreciate good service, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

I ordered food from here and went to pick it up. As soon as I walk in a worker that was eating was clearly sick. He sneezed food onto the floor, then continued to wipe his nose with his hands. Then the worker cleaned it up, because, I was right there. I asked the lady if he worked there, she said no. The guy used the hands he wiped his nose with to open the door, then I see him go in the kitchen. I just walked out. Do not be fooled because this is in a nice neighborhood. Phoenix is my goto for chinese. I have had both delivery and eat in experiences. Todays' meal was delivered. It arrived hot and fresh, which is their norm.
