Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Crescent City

The food taste great but the customer service sucked. Had a free chips reward that expired today. Ordered a quesadilla on the app and added the promo but got an error. Tried multiple times but kept getting error, so decided to ask them at the window for it. Girl gives me the auntree and says to come inside. Went inside, waited in line, scanned the promo, but now the minimum purchase wasn’t met. Girl asked manager who basically said “sorry I just make the burritos.” I can’t override the machine and it doesn’t know you just picked up an order. Extraordinarily disappointing. Prices are INSANE for absolute dog crap food. We held out when it first opened but we finally decided to give it a go but it was a HUGE mistake and I hope someone from corporate reads this. We paid $32 for ONE burrito and chips with queso. The burrito was cold, bland and spent more time in the trash than it did in our stomachs. The shitty generic chips were stale and the queso tasted like an elementary school science project. I would push for a refund or store credit but honestly even if corporate gave me free food for the rest of my life I would never eat here again so at the very least I'm hoping for a refund. The food is great and service is usually good! There is a manager who should not be a manager! I went there literally 30 minutes ago and was going to use my free guac or topping thing and he repeatedly told me it was for guac only when it clearly states you can get a topping or guac. I asked him to read it and he just kept saying swipe it to the code and that its only for guac. Again it clearly states otherwise but at this point I was fed up along with my husband so we just said forget it paid for the burrito as is and left.
