Posting a new review because I had a newer, somewhat disappointing experience. I made a reservation several days in advance for my fiancé and I to have our anniversary dinner Friday evening. We arrived on time and were told that our table was not available. Confused, I mentioned again that we had a reservation. The gentleman said that the person at the table arrived late and we wouldn’t be seated for 30 minutes unless we sat outside (in early February) on the patio that had a heater. I am baffled that they made us pay the price instead of having the woman who was late to her own reservation sit outside. We decided to take the patio seat. It was better than leaving but we were seated directly below the heating element and it was on so high that my neck and shoulders were hot to the touch and my neck was burning. It was very uncomfortable. Our server was very nice but seemed very rushed (not sure if they were understaffed that night - I don’t hold it against her). Because we were sat right next to the door to inside we heard staff swearing and sighing to themselves when leaving the room, and we also hear someone (maybe a manager?) upset with some of the staff over a mixup at a different table.

It was supposed to be a Romantic dinner but we didn’t get our RESERVED table, but thrown under an oven of a heater and heard staff be upset. Not a wonderful atmosphere for a $200 anniversary dinner.

The saving grace is that the food and drinks were fantastic. The mock tail I had was great, as was my steak and affogato. Amanda was a wonderful waitress. But, I can’t say I was happy with...

First time dining at Timothy's. A definite 4- 4.5 rating. Service was very attentive. I was surprised and disappointed however that as extensive as the cocktail menu is, as well as the wine offerings, that I was unable to order a Mojito. I have been able to receive them at less formal establishments. I believe our server stated it was because you do not carry fresh mint. So your chimichuri is not made on-site? It has mint. The caesar salad was the best we have ever had. The dressing was outstanding! Ordered Steak Frites- perfect medium rare, sides flavorful. Our other entree was the rack of lamb. If we return, probably will not order that again. They were not as plentiful as expected- thin cut and two of the chops were more medium than medium rare. Also, the vegetable hash side does not pair well with lamb chops- potatoes, rice or pastas would be a better choice. As this was a birthday celebration, the complementary dessert with candle was much appreciated and a nice touch. May I suggest that you give birthday celebrants an option of a few desserts? An individual pineapple upside down cake was served, but in all honesty, it was extremely dry. Oddly, it is not even listed on the dessert menu. Not sure if these small cakes are commercial and kept on the side for birthdays or it just happened to be in the inventory to use as a complimentary item. Had I known, I would have gladly ordered an additional dessert item from the menu. Loved the ambiance of the inside dining. Will likely return in the future, but with knowledge from this first experience to influence...

This is my favorite restaurant. The quality of the food and wine has been consistent. The service is excellent. I have been coming here very frequently and I have tried almost everything on the menu.

--- 02-19-2025 ---

I have never had to return anything back to the kitchen. Everything I ordered was always correct and far better than what the multi-million and billion dollar corporations attempt to provide (yeah millionaires and billionaires do not know how to provide quality as they are dead behind the eyes).

This restaurant has been very consistent and far better than "lesser" "fine-dining" restaurants (if you know what I mean).

In fact, look at "Il Bel Lago". Do not get me wrong, that "restaurant" has very good food, but Timothy's (The Restaurant) can do way better AND provide high-quality service. Again, do not get me wrong, that "other" "restaurant" has good food, but the service was shit. At least Timothy's (The Restaurant) knows how to actually provide not only high quality good molecules that I put in my mouth, but they always have high quality service (even when the restaurant is booked up and full).

Other "fine-dining" restaurants can wish they were like Timothy's in one hand and they can do "you know what" in the other hand (you know how e-digital e-futuristic e-smart e-technology works). Stop bothering with McDonald's and cheap sh!t. Only put quality molecules in your mouth. Talk to your doctor first about going to "lesser" places. Do put better molecules in your mouth (I am no doctor, nor do I play one...

Sure got fancy! What? I got the hummus from the appetizer and also the fried lion’s mane. The hummus was good, I only wish the bread was a bit fresher or warmer… it took a bit of effort.. the carrot sticks were a little on the thicker side.. overall it was okay. The lion’s mane main entree was good. I am happy that the menu had at least 1 vegan variety. I felt like I was eating a thanksgiving dinner though.. it came with sweet potato’s and kale.. which were okay.. the lion’s mane was fresh and i imagined it fried with batter but im glad it was not with a batter. We also got the buffalo cauliflower (not pictured) which I also thought was with batter but it wasn’t.. and also thought the sauce was on the side but it wasn’t.. and it was my fault for not asking for a vegan version as our party was so big.. but overall it was a good experience. Environment This is located in a plaza, so there is plenty of party. The interior was really nice and cozy. Very fitting for dinner settings. Niceness of the staff Staff was overall great. Didn’t had a personal conversation. He was neutral and we were able to get our meals, eat and leave. Dollar It for sure is on the nicer dollar side. Near $30 for the lions mane… would I get it again, probably since it’s the only option of 2… Yes? I’d go again. With experience, I know I need to explicitly ask for vegan variations. Great for groups.. but not as friendly if you are doing shareable and need veganized

When we were taken to our table I noticed how nicely the table looked with the white tablecloth, the glassware and silverware. We started with the Berries and Goat Cheese Salad. The salad was served with a spring mix, red onion, strawberry, blueberry, sliced almonds, goat cheese, and a honey mustard vinaigrette. The salad was a 5 out of 5. Excellent flavors with fresh ingredients and the perfect dressing. We ordered the Miso Poached Grouper and the Filet of Beef. We shared the entrees so we could enjoy tasting both. The grouper was a 4 out of 5 and the Filet was 3.5 out of 5. The grouper had Hen of the woods mushroom, sugar snap peas, napa cabbage, miso broth, and micro cilantro. The grouper was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The mushroom, snap peas, and cabbage was overcooked and limpy. The Filet of Beef had Broccolini, whipped potatoes, and red wine. The filet was not tender. This was very disappointing. The sauce with the filet was a big plus. For dessert we shared Death by Chocolate. It consisted of flourless chocolate cake, dark chocolate mousse, espresso, and crème anglaise. The dessert was a 5 out of 5. We received excellent service. This is a cute little restaurant and we enjoyed the experience.
