Unfortunately, I made the mistake of going to this KFC location. That’s right, they are no longer calling it in Kentucky Fried Chicken… I believe at this location KFC stands for Kentucky Failed Chicken. Colonel Sanders must be rolling in his grave, knowing what this place has turned his legacy into. The person at the drive-through was not very friendly. I ordered a famous bowl without corn. What I received was more of an Infamous Bowl. Since she did not repeat my order back to me & there is no screen to read that she got the order right, and I have a dietary issue where I cannot eat corn , I asked her if she got the part about corn. Her reply was to proceeded to give me the price again, which turned out was not correct because she failed to include the tax, no big deal. Sorry my standards are so high, but I like when I go to the drive-through and they say: Hi, welcome to KFC. Can I take your order? Or What would you like? My real issue however, was with the Famous Bowl itself. There was so much gravy, it was like a soup. The amount of chicken that was included, makes this place truly a laughing stock in an embarrassment to KFC. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. Charging more money and serving less is a bad combination. I will include a picture of a previous famous bowl from a good location, so maybe these people can see what it should actually look like… The price of the famous bowl has skyrocketed and , this thing was such a major disappointment. It lacked in chicken and the mashed potatoes were sparse. Cheese? If you are looking for something to grab quickly while in the area, save your money and go anywhere...
Read moreI wanted to share my experience at the Cromwell KFC this evening at 850pm. I’m a Middletown resident but travels to Cromwell because I have always received fresh chicken and good Customer service but on this evening I came into contact with the manager named Michelle (African American girl) I ordered a Eight piece bucket of chicken. When I got home I had seven pieces and they were so small and dried up it was shameful that they even put the chicken in the bucket. I called back to the store and Michelle (manager) answered the phone. I shared with her what happened and the attitude I received was unbelievably disappointing. She didn’t apologize and when I told her they should close if they didn’t have chicken that was worth selling. She went on to say I don’t know what you are talking about we have plenty of chicken and that’s when I said I was returning to the store she responded well I will be here with an attitude and hung up the phone on me. I didn’t feel comfortable receiving more chicken from her as I was afraid she would do something inappropriate with the food so I asked for my money back. She returned my money with yet more attitude and never provided an apology for the inconvenience. KFC ownership do yourself a favor and get this lady off the front line as a manager. “MICHELLE” is ONLY fit to work in the basement of a factory with a machine that don’t speak. WORST DEFINITION OF GOOD COSTUMER SERVICE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET RID...
Read moreThe last three times I went through drive through and ordered my meals all three times the meals were wrong or missing food. The first time I called and spoke to the manager she was very polite and kind. She offered to replace the food and did. The second time I didn’t call or return I just ate whatever food they gave me. The last time they messed up my order it was missing pieces of chicken and a side. I called the same manager again and she said to come in and my food would be replaced. When I came in on another day the other manager or employee was unpleasant with me and made me feel uncomfortable for coming in to get my food replaced. She gave me a stank look and scolded me for not telling her in the drive through that I had my name on a list to get food. (I didn’t say anything because it’s easier to explain at the window ) everyone in that interaction seemed to be uncomfortable with me coming in to get my food and I will not be returning now to that restaurant. The manager I spoke to was very kind but the rest of the restaurant is a mess. I worked in fast food for a few years and we always took care of our customers, used manners and corrected mistakes made. Between all of the order mistakes and the way I was treated when I came in I...
