I stopped in here at 4:52 p.m. on Wednesday October 4th to grab a quick sandwich and It was anything but quick. I did not get my sandwich until 5: 32pm This is by far the slowest poorly ran store I've ever seen in my life. I live in North Carolina and we have tons of Jersey Mike's and I've never seen this level of incompetence in making sandwiches.
There were like five people in front of me It shouldn't have taken but 10 minutes to get through those people The problem was the guy making the sandwiches not cutting the meat but they actual toppings. He was literally laying things on one at a time. One jalapeno at a time in a straight row one onion ring at a time he would like separate the onions and put a ring, one at a time. I'm surprised he didn't put one piece of lettuce at a time.....
I even asked him if that was something new that they were making them do. And he said no he just liked them to look pretty. You can literally go to any other Jersey Mike's and they just put the stuff on there quickly The sandwich is going to get eaten and digested It doesn't really matter how it looks underneath the bread.
I only get to visit my family for a couple days a year, And by me having to sit there for an extra 30 minutes I missed a photography event I was going to be at because By the time I drove there after waiting the 30 minutes for a sandwich actually over 30 minutes, clouds were coming in and the sun was going down so I missed that opportunity...thank you so much to the guy who doesn't know how to make sandwiches quickly. Not even remotely fast.
Plus I overheard someone who had placed an app order to go and she was in there with her husband when I walked in.... And she asked them if there was any update on her order that it was placed an hour ago.... It was literally two cold sandwiches and I saw them getting them together in front of mine.
Poor communication with that team. You could tell that no one really had any competency and I will say it again that they really need to train better and do better. I would never go back and I will never recommend anyone in that area go there if you're remotely in a hurry

Read moreUpdate: I called the store manager Shawn/Shaun and he was polite and informed me that the chips and Drink are being refunded. That goes a long way in restoring confidence. Its really that simple, just do right by me and I'll keep patronizing. First time I've ever had a problem at the shop, mistakes happen. Also Bobby the owner called me and I had a pleasant conversation with him. That ladies and gentlemen is how you turn an initial 1 star review back to a 5 star!
Kaitlyn/Caitlyn was the rudest employee I've ever dealt with. They forgot my chips and stubborn soda in the bag. I called up there looking to have the missing items refunded and she told me I had to drive back up to the store that is a 20 mile round-trip and she'd give me the chips and drink. Whoa, I'm not leaving my home wasting my gas because she don't know how to do her job properly. Then she hung on me saying she didn't like my "tone". I kept it respectful even after she deserved an earful. As of now, I won't be returning unless this gets resolved and that's a shame because I love Jersey...
