I went through the drive thru on a Thursday night about 920pm and ordered a medium #1 meal. Halfway home I realized they gave me a small fry. Ok, mistakes happen and let it go. I decided to give them another chance and went thru the drive thru again, about 915pm. Two cars were ahead of me and I placed a simple order, 2 cheeseburgers and a large fries. I pay at the first window then went to the second window to get my order. The employee started to give me a drink and the wrong order. I told her I just had two cheese burgers and a large fry. After a few minutes, the employee came back to the window and asked me again what I had ordered. I told her two cheese burgers and a large fry. She closed the window briefly then asked me to pull up to the third window. While I sat there, I watched two more vehicles enter the drive thru. I continued to wait until I saw both vehicles go to the second window, get their orders and leave, driving around me. It had now been about twenty minutes since I placed my order. Frustrated, I drove around to the first window again and asked for a refund. The employee taking the orders apologized profusely as I said I thought I had placed a pretty simple order. The employee agreed that it was a simple order as the employee from the second window appeared and for a third time, asked me what my order was. I was tired as I had been working all day and after telling her a third time, I ordered two cheese burgers and a large fry, adding that I just wanted to go get a refund and go home. As I was waiting, I watched as a third vehicle (after I placed my order) receive their order and leave. The manager finally appeared and gave me my refund. By now, I had been there over 30 minutes. I told her of my experience two nights earlier and she offered to give me a free meal on my next visit. I declined the offer as I felt two bad experiences in a row were enough and I live closer to two other McDonalds (that I've never had an experience like this at) anyway. The Crystal River McDonalds just happens to be closer to my work. Enough is enough. I won't bother with the Crystal River...

I brought 7 kids up because they were so excited to see the new place... the staff wanted me to load the kids back in the car, go through the drive through, then come back inside to eat - per the MANAGER!! I asked several times to just take my order as if I was in the drive through but was ignored... after standing there with very upset kids, a kind woman offered to sit with my kids as I went through the drive through to place my order... so ok, I didn't want to show my butt in front of the kids... I paid and drove to the pick up window... I asked that they just put the food on the counter so I can park and come in to feed the kids... THEY WANTED TO ARGUE WITH ME so I drove off back around and walked in and told them I wanted my food here... period end of discussion. Not one apology or even a sorry for the inconvenience... then to top it off... MY ORDER WAS WRONG!!
I'm a business owner and put my customers first whether they are right or wrong! As much as I hate writing a bad comment... I hope the owners of this establishment read their reviews... since there are no phone numbers up in thier business and their staff would not give out a phone number for comments...
Other than that the food was good and the place will look nice once it is done. They have a few new things I've never seen in...
Read moreWe go drive through with a rather short line, maybe 5 people ahead of us. It took a total of 30 minutes, to get out of there. Once we to the first window, she says their computers are down. They should have people outside telling us whats going on. But, we took 30 minutes. We get to the second window to find out we have been overcharged $1.50 plus tax. We tell them and they say the most they could give us was 80 cents. We said whatever and moved on. We get home just to find out we don't have our medium fry. I call them to tell them and woman I'm talking to said she's 100 percent sure she put it in there. I said I would go check again and while I'm talking, she hangs up on me. Being my sister worked at this mcdonalds about four years ago, I give her a call to see what I should do. She said that when that happened, the person would go back and get the item they asked for AND get the money back due to inconvenience. I call mcdonalds back and when she heard my voice she say "Oh, it's you again." I asked if I could speak to the manager and she said that she was the manager and that only managers can pick up the phone. I agree that how I ended it wasn't the best way, but I told she was a horrible manager, and hung up. My mom went back to at least get the fries, just for them to say "To late. You missed your chance." This has not been as good of a mcdonalds since they renovated about a year ago. Now they have a dumbf* manager too. I would not recommend going here. I would suggest going to the Wendys right...
