McDonald's — Restaurant in Cuba

My wife and I went through the drive-thru at the McDonalds in Cuba, Missouri on Thursday, Oct 14 around Noon to 1:00 PM. We could have gone through any number of McDonalds drive-thru's as there is one in almost every town along route 44. We just randomly chose the McDonalds in Cuba, Missouri. The drive-thru is a 2-lane style drive-thru. I was driving in the left lane of the two lanes. I heard a woman on the intercom ask me for my order. I gave her the full order. Then we waited a minute, and my wife said she could hear the same woman switch to the 2nd lane and ask for the order of the car next to us, in the other drive-thru lane as she had her window down and could clearly hear her voice. Then the woman came back on our intercom and asked if she could take our order...again. I let her know I just gave her my order. She asked for me to tell her again. So I did. Then she was overheard with the next car in the other drive-thru lane. Then she came back to us and asked if she could take our order. I told her that I had given her our order twice and wanted to understand why she kept asking and not finishing up with our order, as she had not told us the final cost nor given us any sign that we should advance to the pick-up window and pay. She said she had to check her blood sugar. Then she left us again and another person asked us for our order, and I gave it with an attitude this time, for the 4th time. Once I got to the window to pay, I repeated my entire order to the woman taking my credit card as I did not trust my order had been taken correctly, if at all. She said the gal had to check her blood sugar, which we believe was just a cover since the gal kept switching between windows as we kept hearing her voice with the other lane and 3 cars went ahead of us in the time we gave our order 4 times. We had limited time and it took more than 15 minutes sitting in the drive-thru just trying to give our order. We will avoid the Cuba McDonalds in the future. There are many other options on Route 44, not just McDonalds, between St. Louis and Springfield, so we will exercise our different options...

A lot of people at this place don't do their jobs. The place is absolutely disgusting the toilets are usually clogged the floors are sticky in the entire building, and the place smell bad especially in bathrooms it's worse than Taco Bell. Also, I pulled up to order food at one of the drive thru speakers, to see two of the employees smoking some unknown drugs in one of the two's car. I pulled up to the window and heard the same two yelling at the employees, which gave me the impression that they were high on something. They sent an employee home for calling the manager to inform him of the situation. I couldn't believe that this restaurant is a kids restaurant when there are employees doing illegal drugs on their breaks. Overall, the french fries are cold when I get them, the regular mc chicken was more spicy than the actually spicy mc chicken itself. There is always someone just standing in the kitchen on their phone rather than doing their job. Also, the customer service is slow, the food bags are musty, the ice cream machine is always 'broken', and the floor there is so slick that I came in with basketball shoes and almost fell over. I couldn't believe my eyes. Overall, it is disgusting and I will not be walking in any time soon. Maybe use the drive thru. It is so bad that there are cars lined up on the curb waiting for their food, just to see one small bag come out at a time. First of all when we ordered our food, we asked for some honey mustard, the little blonde headed girl was going to charge us for it, I said forget it, she said in a hateful tone not my rules. We went to get our drinks and the drink area was filthy disgusting and this is not the first time it's been like that. We ordered for inside dining she set our order on the counter and never called for us, so time went by and I walked up there and there it set on the counter. Then 5 people came in to order this girl was out in dining area kissing on a boy, when she went back to counter to take orders her boyfriend came and stood at the door way leading into the workers counter, totally unacceptable. After all the people made their orders the girl disappeared and no one was behind the counter, a lady came inside and no one was behind the counter, some boy sitting in the booth with street clothes on asked the lady what she was needing, she said I never got my buffalo sauce or barbecue sauce then this guy goes. Behind the counter and gives her about 10 of them if they are making 13 dollars an hour some people need to be fired.
