Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Culver City

I hate to give 1-star review, but my latest visit on August 5, 2021, was unbelievably bad that I had to warn visitors. We arrived at the store around 6:10pm and there were 2 customers in line ahead of us. There were three persons behind cooking counter, one person packing orders, and one cashier. And we weren't able to order food until 6:35pm! Yes, it took 25 minutes to place an order and several people came after us left the location.

How unorganized are the food packer & cashier? The cook behind the counter came out and took our order because there was no order left to cook!

I always come here and have been coming here for years! The food is absolutely amazing! Its pretty quick and the staff are always kind. I had the salad and its really filling plus the meat is always cooked to perfection. I really like it here, there is a lot of options to choose from. There is a small wait time for them to prepare BUT its very short and there are multiple businesses on site so you can shop and then stop there to eat, or browse places while you wait!
