I will share with the public my brief experience of working with Papa Johns particularly at the culver city location. I recently quit this company due to multiple factors that proved to be a disadvantage economically. I received my last check which was 62.20...stating I worked for 6.19 hours although I know I worked more than the hours stated. Tried to call the manager to contest the stated hours but to know avail my calls went unanswered . I also accumulated 24.21 in sick hours that I never received. I will briefly touch on the possible fact that the mileage check out reports, scraps .30 per shift. I even consulted an attorney...and again nothing happened. Where is that money going? I didn't receive it. Being paid 1.02 per delivery at 11.00 an hour yet charge the customer 3.99 per delivery constitutes a slave job...and well, we know how that went...if you(consumer) have common sense you would cease from purchasing products from this company. Dominoes or Pizza Hut would be a better choice and I worked at the latter. It is no wonder why the Papa Johns company is failing. The public should know, they steal your tips. Read the reviews for ALL the papa johns across the nation not just the Culver City location and than assess the company for your self. Ask your self (consumer) a question? "Why do I support this type of company?" A company with horrible customer service and a company that steals from their employees? I will not get into the racial issue that caused this companies down fall...that is another case altogether but I have assessed this company and the Culver city location in general operates a horrible shady business...and as America continues to strive to be Nation for good business...Papa Johns has failed....it's franchisees have failed...thus meaning they have failed their employees and the stockholders. Read moreThis one star is to the ownership and management of this Papa Johns, for inadequately staffing and training staff for busy nights of the week. This has occurred multiple times, and again tonight (Friday). Online orders were fully stacking up on the finished pizzas rack. There were only two staff working and both were so busy they did not know to timely check if those finished pizzas had people waiting to claim them, in the long queue bogging down the inside of the store and out the door. Some people in the queue had to yell out to remind the two staff to check those finished pizzas. My online order had shown me the baking was complete and ready for pickup, so I waited and after 35 minutes in line also had to call out to remind the staff to check the finished pizzas rack. Absolutely horrible staffing plan and poor training of staff, by this location's ownership and management. Please learn from another cheap pizza outlet called Little Caesars, by installing the finished pizzas dispenser cabinet with code access for online orders. I ordered a pizza recently... when I walked in nobody was available to take my order... I was sitting there and after a couple of minutes I stood up and finally one of the employees took my order finally... I think he was one of the few nice guys... after such a long wait I had to ask them what happened to my pizza... my pizza had been sitting there for a while and nobody said anything... this is the second time I have this kind of experience in this store... these employees seem very lazy not all but some of them especially the guy who I think he's the second assistant manager or just an employee... he looks very lazy and lacks professionalism towards customers (e.g. hispanic guy wearing a ponytail) his attitude towards customers is very unprofessional... he looks idle slacker... these issues need to be addressed promptly because after reading all the bad reviews from customers most of them are related to carelessness and negligence... if you don't believe me... just...
