Came here on Thanksgiving Day, because as an out-of-towner I try to shop and dine local. The food and coffee were both 11/10, I got a vanilla iced latte and pesto egg panini, my partner got black coffee and the pastrami egg sandwich. Everything was SO good. The coffee was extremely good, it had the right balance of sweetness, cream, and of course coffee flavor. Both sandwiches were delicious; texture, taste, chosen ingredients, off the charts, AND it was a lot of food, we both didn't finish our sandwiches.

On Thanksgiving Day, I couldn't have been more thankful that they were open, I can just imagine how good it would be any other day of the year. They also advertise being a safe place for the lgbtq+ community and I appreciate...

Here is another hole in a wall discovery. We always visit Cumberland and neighboring towns, and last Sunday we had found this place that offered great food experience! After attending mass next door, I saw the sign of Corner Tavern, literally located at the corner of the street 😊. We decided to go in and try it out. Small place but diners inside seem to be enjoying! I had a chorizo burrito and my 2 companions both had pastrami sunrise. The burrito tasted so fresh and the crunch on the wrap was just awesome! I had a bite of pastrami and very, very delicious. Oh and their brewed coffee is top notch! This will now be my go to eatery when we visit again! And I’m looking forward to taste more of the rest...

So the previous owners of the Corner Tavern did do some great things to resurrect this place into a neighborhood bar. I have to say though, the new owners have taken it further to establish a place that is welcoming to all kinds of people, while serving delicious local and regional food and drink. They promote and feature other local businesses like Dig Deep Brewery and Basecamp Coffee. I think it takes on an even more special meaning when they try to create a sense of community during these COVID-19 times. It’s just something unsaid that’s there that one intangibly feels. This place is not just a restaurant and bar.

Love their smoked beef, breakfast burrito, and avocado toast! Cookies...

The food and drinks are always top notch BUT hold onto your hat if you get to see a band perform in the backyard garden!! Last night at the Mount Pom show was my first time seeing a band at this place, and it was packed!!! Being outside- It was nice and roomy so you had plenty of places to stand or sit. Sipping on delicious cocktails and eating their great sandwiches, wraps and salads…It was a perfect event! Hoping Mount Pom goes back to play there, but either way I’ll be watching for more bands playing at this venue!

Excellent all around. From the outside it looks like a bar that was abandoned, but inside it is cozy and pretty cool. My partner came here to meet someone for coffee and was impressed, so we came by on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. Limited menu, but they knock it out of the park with simple and delicious selections. I had the tuna melt and it was really good. They carry Western MD Lemonade and that made the experience better. Will be back again!
