Gilchrist Gallery — Attraction in Cumberland

My sister and I went to a mother daughter tea ( its ok everyone thinks my sister is my mom 😁) The tea variety was excellent, the cucumber sammies were delish. The other food was delightful ( did I mention the cucumbers?) We got to make our own candles I mixed scents to make vanilla pecan waffles, my sister made coconut beach. We made our own labels for the candles. We were able to create out own boutiques of flowers. Everyone got a bracelet. I took a self guided tour of the house. The seating for the tea was fun. You had the option for a boho tea (your sitting on the floor) or a traditional tea (at a table) If you sat at a table you shared with approx 10 other ppl which was lovely for conversation. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't enjoy the garden. But we did enjoy ourselves very much. We loved the whole set up. 20/10 would...

A small but trendy, in the best sense of that word, gallery in the beautifully historic district of Cumberland, not to be missed. A gem of an old mansion transformed to cutting edge art exhibitions...would do justice and more to a tony NYC gallery/museum. Did I mention that the staff are extremely gracious?
