Update: 11/2019 - Everything was great, meals were hot, decent portion & prices. My previous review didn’t stop us from ordering again.
I probably had ordered take-out 8 times total so far @ Jin's (50/50 Pick up & Delivery). Everything was good, food was hot, reasonably priced, clean maintained restaurant ( as what I seen walking to pick up counter). This very last visit was the worse dinner combination meal I have ever received from them. 90% of time I order same items which were Spicy salmon rolls ( Love these! ) Chicken Lo mein, & Sweet/Sour Chicken. The S&S Chicken was awful, there was a very.. very small amount of chicken inside the over cooked breading, some pieces were even non-existent. I ordered this everytime and know it's normally not like that usually the pieces were double-triple size with good portion of chicken. Maybe they buy it already breaded and I received end of bag??? I don't know, I probably should have called, complained, something but was too tired, even though that entire chicken portion had to be thrown away. I'm certain it wasn't purposely done. This 1 time event will not deter me from ordering anymore, unless i get same or similar quality as the...
Read moreBeware on ordering anything If there is even a small chance you may not like it. I ordered a sushi roll and a side of chicken fried rice. The sushi was okay, but the fried rice was absolutely disgusting . Ive never had horrible fried rice... how do you mess up fried rice? Lol It smelled horrible and tasted even worse. I ate one bite and sent it back. I was polite and didn't make a fuss, I just told her I didn't like it, it wasn't good. When the bill came they left the rice on our bill. We asked if they could take it off. It was $5 and I had only taken one bite. She said "no, you ordered and didn't like it, it's in the trash. We wont do that". We had never been here and had never tried any of their food. I've never had this bad of fried rice. It looked like and smelled like plastic. Like a steamer bag of rice. It didn't even look fried. My husband had white rice with his meal and they looked the same. My husbands food was okay, but we won't be back. We seldom ever send food back, but it was just that bad. We are mostly disappointed in the service. The few times we have ever sent food back, the restaurant took it off and didn't make it awkward... this...
Read moreDisappointing food, we tried it based on reviews. We ordered several items, Pupu platter appetizer, Pad Thai, salmon and shrimp sashimi, General Tso's, and what was supposed to be Thai red curry. The waitress seemed new but got help from the other waitress and manager. The place was not busy but it was difficult to get our waitresses attention after being served. They were all nice and tried to make sure we were happy. The Pupu platter had several items, ribs, chicken wings, shrimp toast, egg rolls. The wings and egg rolls were OK, The ribs were very dry overcooked with a sweet sauce on them. The shrimp toast was a chopped up mix of pork and something else, it was not tasty. The Pad Thai was made with a pinkish fish sauce, not even close to tasting like any I have ever had before. They offered another dish, I choose Generals and it was mostly deep fried batter little or no chicken. The Red curry was not anything we had before . So don't have high expectations for here, the reviews are high due to the locals most likely having limited choices. The folks were nice and the atmosphere...
