JJ's & Sons Pizzeria — Restaurant in Cumberland

Brown/pink core lettuce hidden in the bottom of the chef salad (under a few leaves of fresh green lettuce) and “famous blue cheese dressing” was just gross. When I first saw it, it was crammed in a small takeout container…To the point where when I opened it a lot of the meat and cheeses fell out and onto the ground (I couldn’t eat them at that point). I should’ve flipped it over first because when I did that, I realized that the bottom was jammed full with brown/pink iceberg core lettuce. In trying to make it look like you’re getting a Lot of salad…they made me lose some of the important ingredients -while hiding in the bottom things that aren’t even edible. SCAMMY!

Guys, if it’s brown or pink, throw it out. Don’t try to push it on the customers! DO BETTER

This wasn’t a tossed salad. This was a bunch of old iceberg lettuce with A LITTLE fresh lettuce on top, a tablespoon of chopped green peppers, 4-5 tiny slivers of pink tasteless tomatoes, and a few pepperoni and cheese on top of that clumped together.

The “famous” blue cheese dressing that they tout about ..was gross. At first, I thought they had given me some weird Italian, but then I discovered there were chunks of Some sort of cheese (not blue cheese. I know what blue cheese taste like I know the texture and that wasn’t it) in it so this must be the “famous” dressing that they have. It was nasty and I wish I would’ve just gotten Ranch. This town clearly has low standards if they praise that dressing.

Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I cannot speak for the other food, but their salads are subpar and overall their practices are deceptive! In a town, where there’s lots of choices, don’t choose this place!

I had the opportunity to try this place a few days ago and I must say that I am very impressed. For the longest time I never even knew this place existed until I found out about it from someone else and I am very glad that I did. This restaurant has incredible pizza and the wings are easily the best I've had locally. So often at other restaurants the wings are delicious but are rarely crispy. The wings here are crispy and are even more delicious than what you'd find at other Cumberland restaurants. The pizza was excellent as well. When you enter the restaurant you can see the workers hand crafting each pizza and you're even reminded of the hard work and care that goes into each pizza by the signature of the person who made it written on each box. A neat little detail that I enjoyed. The pizza had plenty of cheese and toppings, the sauce was excellent, and the crust was good quality. I was also impressed by the amount of food. The large pizza was nicely sized and I think they even threw in a few extra wings from what I could tell. Do keep in mind this place does not have dine-in options. Regardless of that, I definitely encourage everyone to give this place a try. I believe you will find...

If you spend $50+ on dinner for your family you should atleast get something decent. First off, the employee taking our order was apathetic and did not show very good customer service. Even my 6yo said "wow, that person was rude" after the call was made. My wife's wings were dry and hardly sauced, more sauce on the carrots and celery than there was on the wings. I ordered a cheesesteak sub and fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were horrible, almost as if they were frozen right out of the bag. My sub was ordered with lettuce, tomatoes and onion with extra mayo and add mushrooms. The mayo was non existent (to my taste atleast) the roll was soggy and just fell apart as soon as I picked it up. The mushrooms were from a can.. Will never order here again!
