McDonald's — Restaurant in Cumberland

I was in this store eating this evening and a girl came in to file a complaint with the manager about their security guard giving her a hard time and supposedly grabbing her wrist. The security guard instantly got an attitude with the girl and told her he could do whatever he wanted and if she didn't like it. He would call the cops and have her thrown out. Totally unprofessional well then the assistant manager an older lady by the last name of Smith started screaming at the girl saying she was nothing but trouble and a theif and this was her store and she would have her permanently banned from it. Ect. Ect. They did call the cops on the girl but honestly the assistant manager and guard were The ones causing the scene. They had no business talking to anyone the way they did that girl. None at all. It was Honestly the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen in my life. I will not be back. I'll spend my money where the staff actually know how to conduct themselves. Worst mcdonalds experience ever. ...

As far as McDonalds go, this one is generally about as good as it gets locally. The food? It's McDonald's. If you aren't familiar, well ummm yeah I don't know how to respond to that. It's generally fresh and usually prepared as requested. I personally don't eat there and haven't for a few years now but my wife and kids like it every now and then. They don't often complain. I would like to mention though that for a straight restaurant it would be 3 stars, but the friendly, competent, outgoing and polite staff earn another star. The staff is the difference and the reason I'll go out of my way to pick food up here vs the other local McDonald's. The staff is consistently great, considering the area and the people they put up with on a daily basis it is a small miracle that they remain so upbeat, but they do and always have. If you want McDonald's and can't decide where to get it I'd suggest this specific restaurant knowing that it's always been pleasant dealing with the outstanding staff at...

Food and facilities – 4 stars. Customer service and environment – 1000 Turds. This place is the pinnacle of bad customer service and a hostile dining environment. My wife and I are in our late 70's and we stopped here for lunch and a break from our drive from Shenandoah National Park to our home in Ohio. What we encountered was an abusive, self-righteous, discriminating attitude from the order taker. After we got our food and sat down to eat, their security guard paraded back and forth at our table to watch us eat. Even though it was the start of lunch hour, the place was deserted of customers so the guard didn't have anyone else to watch - a great way to chase away customers. In all our years, we visited thousands of restaurants, fast food places, dinners, dives, truck stops, gas stations, and this place is ABSOLUTELY the WORST. So if you want a 1000 free Turds with your Big Mac then this is the place for you. We will never stop...
