On 9/4/17. So I was traveling back to NC from GA after attending a funeral and visiting family. I stopped with my family to order McDonalds. I told the young lady Mia at the register that a recently had a kidney transplant and I needed my food to be made fresh. I couldn't have anything under the heat lights or warmers. As the cook Jesse prepares my food I watched them take the burgers from your yellow pull out warmers; while the other lady freshly took out meat from the fridge and placed it on the grill to cook. Not only did Mia tell her that the Big Mac needed to be fresh the cook still proceeded to give me old meat and argued with us that the burger was fresh. But that was only the half of it. The other employee Katie who was working at the drive thru window not even fixing our food, not even dealing with my wife and I decided to tell us that and I quote "Y'all are stressing us Out!". My wife then said "excuse me?" She proceeded to make the statement again. I told her "first of all no one was talking to you", and your not even handling our food". She went back and forth with me for several minutes. I then told her to "shut up and handle the window and pour the drinks!". She had the nerve to tell me "don't talk to her that way!" The manager Dina told her "Don't talk to my customers that way; and told her to clock out now!" Which she still went back and forth and didnt clock out and continued to laugh and smile as of my health was not important for my request to have fresh food. At that point I requested for my money back. I would not patronize this establishment with my hard earned money. My wife called the store manager Michelle and the regional manager Wayne and left messages. She did however speak with the Michelle that had just left 45 mins ago. Come to find out that the store manager Michelle is the mother to the rude employee Katie that I was so called stressing out about having fresh food because I am a Kidney Transplant Recipient. I will never stop and spend my money there...
Read moreWe were peacefully eating our food at this restaurant yesterday evening, December 29th, 2022, when an entitled worker stormed out from the back yelling threats at another co-worker and yelling "I'm leaving!!!" The co-worker who was yelled at handled the moment very professionally, de-escalating the situation by calmly saying "Is that supposed to scare me, bro?" The entitled worker yelled "Come out here to the skreet to find out!" And he stormed out the front door, completely disregarding the care of customers. We thought this entitled man's response was very unprofessional and totally immature. The McDonald's mission statement is "to make delicious feel-good moments easy for everyone." The calm worker turned what could have been a really bad moment into a delicious, feel-good moment. We spoke to the calm worker and another co-worker afterwards, and learned that the entitled worker complains all the time, except this time, the calm worker confronted him for it, saying something like, "You always complain." Unless McDonald's wants to change their outlook to MMA, they should not hire a man who is so totally out of control to challenge his co-workers to a fight out in the "skreet"- although we put our bets on the calm man who de-escalated the situation so well. The entitled worker totally underestimated the calm worker. We were glad when the entitled worker was gone. Our peaceful eating resumed. That is why this review is almost five stars. But if that entitled worker continues to be hired by this McDonald's, he shouldn't threaten that calm worker. Calm worker is unassuming. If entitled worker is smart, he should get to his work as meek as a lamb, or try MMA...
Read moreSo I have had numerous problems with this particular location. Today however has pushed me over the edge. My husband want to try their in app ordering. The app told us to park in the parking spots reserved For people who ordered in the app. So we look around and don’t see specific parking spots for that. He parks in the reserved spot. Eventually after a long wait staff member comes out to ask us what we ordered and why we were in that spot. Several minutes go by and he shows up with our order. He then chastises us for not going through the drive-through line and parking in the parking spot instead as he hands my husband the order. Excuse me but your app offer this option to us. So we took it.
In a previous situation, we were at the drive-through and somebody comes to ask the drive-through person about the schedule. So the drive-through person walks off with my credit card in hand to help his employee figure out the schedule rather than finishing up our transaction and handing the card back.
This is consistently one of the slowest drive through’s I have been to McDonald’s or otherwise. The staff are lazy and inconsistent. This was the first time tonight in years that I have been to that McDonald’s. As usual our burgers were cold and the coffees were terrible. It will probably be years before I attempt to go to this particular...
