Moon Tea is a small but popular boba shop located in a bustling plaza with many other restaurants and stores. Due to its prime location, the parking lot is often packed, making it difficult to find a spot during peak hours. Inside, ordering is done through a single self-service kiosk, which can lead to long wait times, especially when there’s a line of customers.
We tried a few drinks, and I opted for the Da Hong Pao Milk Tea. The tea had a strong, roasted flavor, which I enjoyed, but I noticed that nearly all their drinks contained milk. It would be nice if they offered more variety, including non-milk options for those who prefer traditional tea or have dietary restrictions. Additionally, one major downside was the lack of topping options. Many boba shops allow customers to customize their drinks with toppings like boba, pudding, or grass jelly, but Moon Tea doesn’t offer any add-ons. This was disappointing since toppings are an essential part of the experience for many tea lovers.
Overall, the drinks we tried were decent, and the quality of the tea seemed good, but the limited customization options and long wait times made the experience less enjoyable. If Moon Tea added toppings and streamlined their ordering process, it could be a much better spot. While I wouldn’t go out of my way to return, it might be worth a visit if you’re already in the area and don’t mind a...
Read moreIt was a hot summer day as I was walking around the Steven's Creek Blvd (Boulevard) Plaza as I laid eyes on the MoonTea storefront. The alluring jars of tea captivated me and reeled me into the store. Once I entered, I was struck by the aroma of fresh tea leaves. The aesthetic of the store was already pleasing at first, but as I gazed around I realized the authenticity and surreality of the store. The plentiful menu made it a tough choice for me to decide on my order, but that isn't necessarily a con; All that says about the store is the variety of the beverages it provides. I decided to settle on a Peach Oolong tea— as recommended by a certain Mr.Vedanth Padmanabhan— and boy oh boy was it refreshing! It hit all the marks of flavor, temperature, and even color. The pomelo pulp was such a nice and unique addition to the drink as recommended to me per the awesome bobarista. I would definitely recommend MoonTea Cupertino to any customer, as they provide one of the best tea services that I have ever received; and not to toot my own horn but let me tell you: I am a bit of a tea connesewer. Anyways, check out MoonTea Cupertino for a tea drink that you will never...
