Hello, hope this gets to the right hands, which is the lady that owns this restaurant. I had never had any complaints. I have been a customer for many years and i can say all the staff has been really nice and friendly. I have seen this guy who he said his name is carlos. But he has never taken my orders. Today it was the first time. And that person has been the most disrespectful and angry person i have ever known. Yes it was that bad. He called me crazy and asked me to go to take my medication. He told other customers that were in the store that i was a crazy lady. Until I decided to film him. He stopped yelling at me. And ignored me completely. I made an order and when i went to pay i gave him my card but he saw i was still looking at the menu and also seeing if i was gonna order something to drink. Because he didn’t even asked. He was so fast that when i said i can i please have.... he already said “oh no you can not order more” and the minimum with a card is $5. He said it in a rude manner and didnt care. Then when he finally came to get the receipt signed i asked him to please do a void because i wanted to buy a juice. He got all offensive started yelling and said he couldnt. I said called the owner please. Maybe she can. He started to yelled at us and being disrespectful and said we were the ones disrespecting him. And that he wasnt gonna do any voids. I asked him to call the owner and he went to the kitchen to make fun of us. He was like “oh yea im here in the back looking for the owner, like if she is gonna do anything to me” he laughed. Then i started recording. He said i was ridiculous and that i wanted to get famous. He said to grow up. After i stopped recording. I waited for him to do the void and charge me. He grabbed the receipt and my card. Did the void. Took my food. And didnt sell me anything. Let me stood there for minutes and ignored me. All i want to know if this is the type of treatment a customer will receive every time this guy is gonna be there. I buy very frequently and i feel he is not gonna sell me anything. So i dont know if i should take my business somewhere else because i dont wanna feel mistreated by someone who should be giving a good customer service. And if he dislike his job he should go somewhere else where he doesn’t treat customers that bad. Read moreThe first time we came to this restaurant, the food was delicious. I had asked for a shrimp quesadilla to include vegetables, specifically onions and peppers. I was accommodated and my family really enjoyed the experience. Today was the second time and I requested the exact same meal. I was told they cannot add vegetables to the quesadilla because there was no way of putting it in the system. I asked several different ways if I could pay an up charge to have the kitchen staff prepare it how I wanted it. The man behind the register kept telling the employee translating in to English that they cannot do it. The employee translating into English suggested I get a side of onion and peppers, open the quesadilla, and put them on it myself. I ordered for the rest of my family and decided I was not going to eat. The employee that was translating into English apologized. I explained that what just happened did not make sense. He agreed with me, but no one offered to make the changes. I did not want to spend money on food I really didn't want. We are on a budget and felt like a waste of money to do that. I sat at the table and watched my family eat. I almost didn't write the review because some people might see this at petty, but the lack of customer service bothered me the most. I did ask my son how the chicken nuggets tasted, and he responded they were not good. The review of the food was not good. There was also a rude interaction between an older woman and the employee behind the front desk. The older woman wanted to ensure there was no meat in her order and the employee was making fun of her in Spanish and rolling his eyes. Read moreI have to say I been going to Ernesto Taco Shop for the longest time. I had the worst experience today apparently with the owner himself (Carlos). We had called to make an order over the phone, the person was rude to begin with and wasn't knowledgeable about the food (the owner by the way). I had done quite bit of orders for lunch and one of the orders was done incorrectly. I informed him about the mistake they had done he immediately started calling me a liar. He started giving me attitude and in front of customers embarrassing me like I was the problematic one. I never in my life felt so disrespected. As a local of cutler bay I will make sure to inform everyone not to eat there. On top of that while I was in there a customer informed him they had found a coin in the sauce bar. He stated that usually happens and its normal because people all over the sauce bar. He dint even bother to change the sauce knowing it was contaminated. At this point I was grossed out. I waited to see if he would even change the contaminated sauce which he did not. So, I asked to speak to the manager and he started laughing saying he was the manager and he could careless of my complaint. This is defenitely the last time I will ever eat at Ernesto. I will make sure tell all my friends and family how bad the service at Ernesto Tacos is. I will never step a foot in that restaurant. There is better Mexican food and cleaner restaurants than Ernesto Tacos. Best of luck to that owner because he wont last long in cutler bay with that horrible customer...
