Olive Garden — Restaurant in Cutler Bay

Although I don’t frequent this Olive Garden location often, my recent visit was truly exceptional. From the moment I was seated, I was warmly welcomed and attentively cared for by Michael, who went above and beyond to explain the different menu options and the lunch specials. He was patient, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable, even taking the time to explain parts of the menu that weren’t immediately clear. Our food was delicious, and Michael continuously checked in to see if we needed anything—offering more soup or salad without hesitation and making sure we were comfortable throughout our meal.

What really stood out, however, was the overall atmosphere of excellent customer service. Another team member, Giovanni, was making his way around the dining room, stopping at each table to check on guests, ensuring everyone was satisfied and had what they needed. That level of attentiveness and hospitality is rare these days, and it made a lasting impression.

I want to personally commend both Michael and Giovanni, as well as the management team, for fostering such a welcoming and customer-focused environment. Their professionalism and genuine care made this visit memorable, and I look forward to returning soon—and hopefully seeing them again.

Karen was our waitress and she was so rude. Didn’t offer refills on anything and we had to ask the hostess to go find met because she disappeared for 15 minutes. We heard the hostess tell her to get off her phone and “get with it” . She went to go offer us a pasta refill and disappeared for another 20 minutes our drinks were empty for most of our meal because we could never get ahold of her. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. Not only did they take long to take our order but once we got our food, it was literally cold. The waitress was able to pick up the plate with her own hands because it was cold. When they brought the food back to me, I was able to stick my finger into my meal to prove it was still cold.
