Jade Bamboo Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Cypress

I'm very torn about this review as food is so subjective. I will start off by saying the crab ragoons were the best I've ever had. The only ones I have ever been able to actually taste crab flavor. The customer service is amazing. The gentlemen on the phone was polite and explained the situation. The delivery driver is one of the first to follow the directions I left, to leave the food and not knock or ring the bell. I'm impressed. Customer service from both was amazing.

However, the soup (spicy sour) and house special beef weren't great. The soup tasted like alcohol to me. I ate two bites and gave up. The beef was covered in seasme seeds which isn't listed oh the menu description. I realize food flavor is subjective so I will give them another try on another dish.

Room for improvement: I ordered online and it said I'd get an email. 30 mins later, never got an email. Which is why I called. As mentioned above, gentlemen on the phone was awesome. They either need to have the site send out the email or update the verbiage on the site.

DO NOT EAT HERE! ROTTEN FOOD!!!!I ordered moo shu shrimp that was suppose to be made of shrimp, cucumbers, mushrooms, ginger, soy sauce, garlic and scallions. Instead I got a rotten portion of slimy slop with rotten shrimp. I got sick. Very sick and for over 24 hours I could not stop throwing up and now I'm left with the haunting of this horrible smell, taste and thought of what I had eaten. I don't much like their food here but my boyfriend seems to enjoy their Kung pow chicken so I order there when he does. But not anymore. They should be ashamed of themselves. They poisoned me with food that has been left out and rotten. Don't eat here please save yourself. These ppl do not care about what they serve and they don't clean their kitchen utensils. The food tastes like it's been sitting in a charcoal grill or frying pan for months. Worst review I've ever given and I've given a lot. I will warn everyone...

Me and Husband decided to eat here after shopping at Kroger...BIG MISTAKE!! We ordered water to drink and there was black fungus looking stuff floating in the glass. It was actually quite disgusting. I decided to just ask for another glass of water. When the waiter brought another glass of water...it was the same thing..black fungus looking stuff at the bottom of my glass...seriously??? You would think that they would MAKE SURE that there was nothing in there since we had a problem the first time. When my husband checked his glass he had black stuff in his glass too. This stuff looked like fish poop. The thought of what it could be totally killed my appetite. Not once did the staff apologize or seemed embarrassed by there dirty, filthy restaurant. But we know one thing for sure....we will...
