I have been going here for years (2014) but recent years I am not like the changes. From 2020-2021 I was absent but coming back has been horrible. I really liked the older guy. He always made sure I was comfortable or that orders were correct. He cared about the customers. The younger guys that work there…not so much. Lately I decided to not even eat in but just do Togo orders and they still seem to have an attitude when I ask for sriracha sauce. My fiancé came in before as well for Togo and they helped everyone besides him even though he was there first . When we did eat in they never check on us and take other peoples orders before ours even if they clearly weren’t seated yet. They put only 2 shrimp in a spring roll (which actually looks ridiculous because of the huge gap). A lot of the times different meat is missing out of my pho like the tendon. If I mention that I’m missing something I get more attitudes like I’m a problem. I won’t say it’s because we’re black….but I don’t like the service. Found a better place instead where they treat Us really well and food and prices are awesome! TRY PHO 18 … only about 5 mins away on w.little York and they have cute decor! And jasmine...

Pho Tau Bay is a hidden gem here in Cypress. Delicious food, an extensive menu, and affordable pricing makes this the ideal place for anyone craving Vietnamese food.

We've sampled four different items from the menu:

Mi Hoanh Thanh Ca Vien - Wonton noodle soup with fish balls in a delicious pork broth. Simply delicious 😋 Broth was rich and full of flavor, the restaurant did not skimp on the noodles or fish balls either. Highly recommend!

Bun Bo Hue - full of meats and well seasoned. Would definitely rate as above average in taste.

Hu Tieu Nam Vang - not a typical item in Vietnamese restaurants unless you're in Chinatown/ Katy Asia Town. This pork based soup was full of meats and veggies. Very well balanced!

Pho Tai Bo Vien - the standard beef noodle soup with eye round steak and meatballs. Solid in taste, nothing mind blowing.

Pho Tau Bay is one of the better Vietnamese restaurants here in the Cypress area. As long-time customers of over 5 years, we will definitely continue...

honestly one of the best restaurants in my area. i was looking for delicious but healthy food and this place is perfect. everything is so flavorful and well made. the staff are lovely and kind. the atmosphere is cozy and brings a sense of warmth. the food is amazing and quite literally jaw dropping of how good it tastes. this place is one of my favorites and if i could i’d eat here everyday. everything is clean and fresh. the food is like a warm hug but for your taste buds. i have no negatives about this place. everything is perfect and definitely worth giving it a try. no other restaurant compare to this one. the service is amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delightful, what else do you need? i definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for something refreshing and something that will instantly make you fall in love with just a couple of bites....

Stopped in 7/30 @2pm to pick up my to go order and chose to eat it in my truck. The restaurant was warm and had flies which should've been the first red flag. I wanted something light for a late lunch so I opted for the spring rolls and an order of egg rolls. I placed the order and before I could give the guy my name he just hung up, another red flag. Fortunately I didn't make it to egg rolls. I only made it through a ¼ of the first spring roll, it had such a fishy taste and only had shrimp and chicken in it. I smelled the shrimp and it was bad, I started gagging and had to step out of my truck to vomit it out of my system. I took the food back, told the cashier and he gave me my money back with no questions asked. Never again will I stop here. First and last time.

I don’t remember the first time I came here, but I do know this is always my go-to spot for Vietnamese food when visiting my parentals in Houston. What’s so great about this place? It’s consistently great no matter the time, day or situation. The service is more prompt than your alarm clock. The food is something to write home about. The price is right—um, hello to the Lunch Special menu! (No, really though. Do yourself a favor and come here M-F before 3PM to order off the bomb.com lunch special menu) Great service, great food, the right price—it’s a perfect combination.
