Title: Fantastic Experience at Newk’s - A Five-Star Delight!
Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Newk’s, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I am thrilled to give this establishment a glowing five-star review.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately captivated by its modern and pleasing interior design. The sleek and contemporary theme, complemented by star-shaped chandeliers, created an inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
One of the highlights of my visit was the unique offer of receiving a free plastic cup for soda or tea when ordering a refreshment. As an orange soda enthusiast, I was delighted to find that they had my favorite beverage available. The refreshing taste of the orange soda perfectly complemented my meal.
Newk’s also impressed me with their thoughtful gesture of providing free crackers and breadsticks. It added a delightful touch to the overall dining experience and showcased the establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction.
What truly sets Newk’s apart is their impeccable service. I was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly short wait time. The attentive and friendly staff ensured that every aspect of my visit was met with efficiency and professionalism. It was refreshing to receive such prompt service without sacrificing quality.
Now, let's talk about the food! Whether you opt for their pizzas or sandwiches, you can't go wrong with any choice. Each dish I sampled was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to culinary excellence. The flavors were robust, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. I found myself savoring every bite and eagerly looking forward to my next visit.
In conclusion, Newk’s exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the complimentary plastic cup for soda or tea to the delectable food options, they have truly mastered the art of providing a remarkable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Newks to anyone seeking a memorable meal with...

I joined some coworkers for lunch here, and it was my very first visit. They introduced me to the place, and I must say, the salad I ordered was absolutely delicious. I went with the Shrimp and Avocado Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette, and every ingredient was fresh and well balanced. No complaints on quality, taste, or price, especially with the teacher discount, it was worth every penny.
Customer service was decent. The servers were friendly and welcoming, and the cashier who took my order was very helpful in explaining the menu since I was a first-timer. They do offer self-ordering kiosks, but the restaurant was so crowded that even those had long lines, making them less useful during a busy lunch rush.
Because of how packed it was, the servers were making small mistakes with orders. While my meal came out just fine, two of my coworkers received the wrong items. They didn't complain and just kept what they were given, but it was frustrating considering how long we had already waited in line and then at the table for our food. Waiting is one thing, but getting the wrong order can make the experience less enjoyable.
Food Ratings: Shrimp and Avocado Salad - 5/5 Cobb Salad - 5/5 (per my coworker) Turkey and Swiss Sandwich - 4/5 (per my coworker) Turkey Avocado Sandwich - 4/5 (per my coworker) Chicken Tortilla Soup - 4/5 (a little spicy, per my coworker) Ambiance - 2/5 (very noisy and elbow-to-elbow crowded)
Overall, this spot is not bad at all. The food is excellent, and the service is okay, not amazing, but not rude either. I came during peak weekday lunch hours, so the crowd might have had a lot to do with the minor mistakes and long wait times. For the food alone, I would definitely recommend giving it a try, though I'd suggest visiting at a less busy time if you can. I look forward to coming back to try their sandwiches and soups; my coworkers' meals looked...

Newks failed me. They over charged me for a Salmon Cesar Salad bc they asked if I wanted it half, which I did, but it costs $3 more than their full. They also super over cooked the salmon so it's a brick that tastes like catfood. I asked them to return it for one that wasn't dry and old tasting. The server was very kind and did so and brought back a "lightly cooked" salmon that was exactly the same as the first one--dry, overcooked, and old. I didn't say anything because it seemed like nothing was going to be done about it, so I ate my $14 anyway because I wasn't going to waste that $14--even if it was old tasting. The cashier was also very new and charged us for a full size macaroni instead of a kids, like we ordered. I think that her possible newness was the problem with my $14 half salmon Cesar salad, too. I can't blame her for the bad fish, though. That's the second time I ordered a salad with fish, the first was the Ahi Tuna, and they were both equally bad. The Ahi Tuna seemed old as well. I guess I'll stick to the pizza. That's the only fresh tasting item on the menu. Everything else seems old or previously cooked. Sad......
