This review is specifically for the General Manager, Al Sampsell. A friend and I chose to visit this Applebee’s location based on the Happy Hour information provided on the Applebee’s website, which listed the hours as 3–6 PM. I drove from Fort Worth after work with that expectation in mind. My food was ordered before my arrival, but when the receipt was presented, I noticed that the appetizers were charged at full price. Upon inquiry, we were informed that the in-store Happy Hour runs from 2–5 PM, which seems unusual since many people don’t get off work until 5. Our server and bartender, Luis M., provided excellent service and brought the General Manager, Al Sampsell, over to assist us. We calmly showed him the website details that led us to visit Applebees. However, instead of addressing the discrepancy, he simply stated that the website information did not apply to his location. When we asked which location it referred to and how we could view the correct Happy Hour details for his location, he responded, “I don’t know.” To clarify, we asked him to show us the correct Happy Hour hours and options on his location’s website, as he had advised. Surprisingly, he was unable to do so. Instead, he provided excuses, used irrelevant analogies, and suggested that we should have called ahead. Despite being the General Manager, he insisted there was nothing he could do to resolve the situation. I have had great experiences at other Applebee’s locations, but this was by far the worst due to the lack of accountability and poor customer service from management. If this is how customer concerns are handled, I can only imagine how the staff must feel working under such leadership. I would like to extend my appreciation to Luis and Journey, who provided outstanding service and truly embodied the Applebee’s brand.

We rolled up at 8:30 PM expecting food, not a lesson in patience. By 9:00 PM, two meals arrived, which was barely acceptable considering the quality. At 9:10 PM, another dish came, as if it had gotten lost. By 9:20 PM, one more plate made it to our table, leaving us still waiting like fools for the last meal. The appetizer? Never showed up. This place can't even handle the basics; they've turned dinner into a test of endurance. And to add insult to injury, there was an armed guard patrolling the premises like we were in some high-security zone. The marinara sauce was so sparse, it wouldn't even cover a single bite, and the ribs were dry to the point of being inedible. Even with the manager taking items off the bill to compensate for their incompetence, the whole experience was still a struggle. Honestly, I would have preferred grabbing some burgers at McDonald's. This place is a disaster—broken beer bottles outside, armed guards inside, just a complete shit show. Applebee's, you've turned eating out into a punishment. If you enjoy waiting endlessly for food that might never come, or dining under the watchful eye of security, then go ahead. But if you have any self-respect, stay far away from this mess.

If I could give it 0 zero stars , I would. I order the 2 for $30 to share with husband. It comes with one appetizer and two entrees. I gave the appetizer to my daughter since she loves mozzarella sticks. I order the unlimited boneless wings for my son. The waitress the says you can’t share. My husband and I proceeded to laugh. Like how is she going to tell us what to do with the food we want to order and that we are going to pay for. I wasn’t going to eat my son boneless wings anyways. I bought it for him, so why did she assume I wanted to share. We couldn’t stop laughing. Then she says oh that’s what my manager said. I don’t care what you manager said. I’m paying for the food. She shouldn’t have to tell me how and when I should eat my food.I should have look at the reviews before coming. The reason why I stayed there after she told us what to do is because my daughter has been craving for mozzarella sticks. If it was up to me I would have walked out. This photo attached is the waitress who told us 🤣

I went to this Applebee's for the first time. Never have I ever been here in my entire life. I came in and was seated by a nice waitress. My server was an older white lady. She was very short with me and rude. I ordered three chicken pastas, nicely asking her to have the kitchen add more to my pasta because I wanted extra. I also asked her to mix my frozen drink with mango and strawberries. She said, "Yeah." When I asked for dessert, she kept answering shortly with "Yeah." She was not engaged, appeared irritated, and made me feel very uncomfortable.

When my food came out, her manager brought it to me. He proceeded to ask for my name and if he knew me from somewhere. First off, why are you asking for my name? And why are you bringing my food? Major red flag. It seemed the server had lied to her manager about her terrible behavior.

I took the food and started eating. As I was in the middle of my meal, the server came and slammed the receipt on the table, telling me, "Not to rush, but here is your receipt."

First off, why are you bringing my receipt? I never asked for it as I was waiting for dessert. When I looked at the receipt, my dessert was never added to it. She also messed up my drink, bringing me only strawberry when I had asked for it to be mixed with mango.

I was stunned and flabbergasted by this type of service. I ignored it and continued to eat. As I was eating, I stopped to play on my phone. She then came and said, "Let me clear this out of your way," while I was still eating.

Excuse me??? Why are you taking my plate away? I never asked you to take my plate. You should ask for permission, especially since I was still eating.

She was so rude, and her attitude was just unbecoming. It was passive-aggressive, and I felt personally attacked. It felt like passive racism. Without directly telling me I didn’t belong there, she showed me through her actions and made me feel like I was a bother.

Passive racism refers to subtle, indirect, or unintentional discriminatory behaviors and attitudes towards people of different races. Unlike overt racism, which is explicit and intentional, passive racism manifests in more subtle ways, such as through body language, tone of voice, microaggressions, or the lack of action against racial injustice.

I spoke to the manager about her behavior and how she treated me. He apologized and acknowledged my concerns. He didn’t seem too surprised about what I said regarding her service, as if this wasn’t the first time she had been complained about.

If this is the type of person Applebee's is hiring, it is just sad. No one deserves to be treated in...

I never leave any reviews. Ever. This. This is my first ever review, and it’s sad because I always thought my first review would be me complimenting the staff, and their excellent service. Unfortunately, I write this review to say how much of a poor execution the staff has delivered. Immediately, walking in, my girlfriend and I waited at the entrance with no host to be found, and sat to wait for quite a while until finally someone showed up and sat us down. It was forgivable due to the notice of short staff, but after we had ordered our drinks, a lady walked up to her table by our side and sat her self with a frustrated expression. A worker walked to the back of that area and she asked him will she get a waitress to take her order. The worker asked if she had her host sit there and I remember clearly her saying that she is allowed to sit herself wherever she wants. The man looked confused and went to search a waitress for her. Meanwhile our drinks arrived and the lady left immediately without leaving our straws, I had to call her back. Again, not too much of a deal, but the lady and this small mistake made me look up the reviews and I was surprised by some reviews. Still l waited with an open mind since every place has bad reviews most of the time. We ordered an entree and our meals. Entree came and we felt satisfied so far, we needed refills and nobody came. Again, I had to call our waitress back. Our food finally arrived and it goes downhill quick. First, the waitress left without handing any silverware so AGAIN I had to call her back. The food; The shrimp. RAW. The potatoes. STALE. The chicken. BURNED. We ordered nachos for our entree and my girlfriend also ordered nachos for her meal. Difference was her order had steak and cheese, but somehow the chips on her meal were bland, and had an excessive amount of cheese. We didn’t enjoy it, I just can’t believe the poor service and poor abilities to cook. Just dissatisfied. Terrible! We went somewhere else, and you can tell a huge difference, being in the other location made me realize how much of a gloomy atmosphere this place gives you. Definitely do not recommend...

Came in on Saturday night at 8 p.m. on February 27th 2021 with my partner. We were shopping in the area and being diabetic decided to stop over because we haven't had anything to eat and needed to eat soon. We parked in the parking lot and called inside to see what the wait time was because they looked busy. We were told about 25 minutes for two people. We came inside and thought we'll wait 25 minutes. We were actually seated a lot sooner than that, which that was awesome. Our waitress came over fairly quickly and took our order and I suppose she went to go place it. I say this because she never came back after 15 minutes or so. By then I was getting a little shaky because I'm diabetic and needed to get some food in me. Almost 20 minutes after we sat down I saw the manager talking to a waiter and pointing out three tables which included ours. The waiter started taking orders and I was puzzled because we all had been waiting on to the best of my knowledge. When he got to our table the last one which we were by the bathroom where a wet ceiling tile was soaking wet and dripping and sagging from the ceiling, the ceiling tile fell and splattered like a cookie having been soaked in milk and thrown on the floor. I told him we have been waited on 20 minutes ago and don't even have our drinks nor our appetizer so where was the waitress who took our order? I think she quit to be quite honest the way she looked when she took out order she look like she was ready to walk out. I usually overlooked stuff I understand things are busy and with all this covid stuff I mean I can't fault businesses for complying with local ordinances for capacity and so forth. I know that they get busy you know what that's okay but this was just not acceptable at all. I usually eat at Chili's not Applebee's because of the customer service I get at Chili's is better everywhere I have been Nationwide. I don't know what the deal was but be cautious eating there because I see recent postings of...
