Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Dallas

I came here with my kids on March 14th since they had a promo going on $3.14 for adult buffets. First thing I notice is most of the pizza looks as if it's been sitting out for at least 20 minutes so I ordered a specialty pizza and told the guy to make sure it was a whole pizza not a half. 15 minutes later I still don't have my pizza so I go and ask what's going on and the guys nonchalantly says "oh, I forgot. They'll make it now." So I go back to my table just sitting there waiting for my pizza and when I go back once the buzzer goes off, my pizza is only half a sheet (4 slices). So I'm already irritated and the guy tells me "oh, well it's cause we're busy." Ummmm okay?! I responded telling him that wasn't my problem my order was incorrect and they needed to make the other half only for him to tell me they were no longer taking orders on specialty pizzas since they were so busy. I then told him again that it wasn't my problem. I placed my original order prior to their "rush period" and the pizza needed to be made in whole. So eventually the manager (Josh I think is his name, he said he was the new manager) comes up to me rolling his eyes irritated and repeats that they're too busy. Again, not my problem. My pizza should've been made the way I told them when I first placed the order and if they couldn't complete the request they should've said so at that time. Not 15 minutes later!

The restrooms are also very DISGUSTING!!! I wouldn't recommend...

I’ve frequent this location a couple times & noticed a weird vibe. We just go to eat so we just ignore it. This last time was my last time. After you pay you have to wait 30-40 minutes to get at LEAST one slice. They have NOTHING out. I wish I was exaggerating. This last time, the person who handles the pizzas closed down half of the buffet. An employee asked him why & he said “because I closed it. I dont have all night & I am leaving in 15 minutes.” People come to eat!! After that he kept arguing with other employees & throwing a fit. he clearly sees kids around & he’s throwing things & raising his voice. When they put ONE PIZZA OUT instead of putting more or another one he waits till that one is done to put another one. IN A BUFFET!!!! People have to share ONE PIZZA!!!

To put the cherry on top my husband went to use the restroom & a staff member was SMOKING WEED WHILE USING THE RESTROOM. Are you kidding me??? Smoke outside 🤣🤣

Theres 2 sweet employees I gotta give props to! She was working evening cleaning & theres another man cleaning tables. Those two are great people! You can tell they are stressed but keep it together.

Be careful and add your totals up in your head before ordering. My wife came in with my child the previous week and asked for an adult buffet and kids buffet, which came out to $18 and some change. When she said how great the salad bar was and pricing, I thought it to be a bit high, remembering the 5.99 commercials, not that long ago. She said that adults were 8.99 and kids 5.99, but she didn't realize that the cashier charged her for a drink as well. Only a couple bucks though so no big deal. Today we came in, I saw on the menu they had a child's buffet under 3 years of age for 1.99, so I asked for two adult buffets with water and a 3 and under kids buffet. The cashier said $28 something, didn't add up for me so I asked (while she answered the phone) if she was sure she had rang up two buffets with water and a 3 and under? She said nothing to me, told the person on the phone to hold on and then rang it up correctly, saving me $7. Not sure what the miscommunication was but something tells me this is a common occurrence.
