BoomerJack's Grill — Restaurant in Dallas

Well I'm a little late writing this but I went what's today's restaurant for the first time last night... And as soon as I walked in there it already was not the best inviting welcoming environment.... I understand restaurant business I've worked in it for years and I know the last couple hours from drags the longest for most; but that doesn't mean you need to let it show to where we can clearly see that you have something going on..... And the other waitresses just kept giving this look. But moving forward I don't know if she had personal stuff going on and she was tired and she just didn't want to work this job I'm not understanding but we've repetitively had to ask her for our stuff even her co-worker stepped in, because she was off doing something else..... And then I even watched her about to walk past our table with my drink and whatever she may be going through I hope that she can overcome it because bringing it to your job is not the best idea.... And then sitting here waiting on an order of fries to go we will sit there for at least a minimum of 10 minutes... And I was already ready to go... I don't know what's going on lately but this is now the second restaurant this week that it'll be my first time going to and it was not a good experience at all... Like I mentioned I definitely get restaurant business I stopped working in it for a reason but I don't want the fact that I completely understand to be taken advantage of... Also a little sore on the steamed veggies would be nice LOL on top of the fries that I got had to bend the leftover fries cuz they were definitely overcooked... And I've seen the pictures on Google so either the ones on Google was undercooked or mine is...

Don't know if it was just an off day for my server, but she couldn't remember anything. I ordered a Dr. Pepper no ice, 20pc bone in wings all drums well done half teriyaki, and mild. She came back 2 times asking what flavors, brought my drink with ice (not a huge deal, still drank it) when asked for a refill mentioned no ice plz, she said my bad i forgot. 30 seconds later, I had my drink back topped off with ice, lol. I looked at the drink then her, she said "that's right no ice". Got my food only had 10 wings. After eating half, she came by and asked how things were. I asked, "Did I ask for the 20pc?" She said."I'll put an order in for 10 more. The next 10 wings came out, not all drums, btw. Once I was ready to go, I asked for a to-go box and the check. After about 5 min she came back I kindly asked for a box again. Now the kicker 😒. The check had 2 orders for 10pc wings at $14.99. Before I arrived, i was going to do a to-go order online. 20pc wings online from their actual site is $25.99, meaning I'm overpaying by but 2 10pc. I asked the server to change it, no problem. $29.99 is the price on the check. I asked, "Why is it different from online?" She said the site menu is old and no one uses it.... so if I were to place an order online and pay, would my order be accepted with the cheaper price? And no, it was not busy or remotely busy for the server to be...

Walked in the door and was blown away by the amount of vape smoke in the restaurant. I've been in Vape shops that were less smokey! I explained to the wait staff that my mother, whom I was with, had asthma and might have a problem breathing. I asked if vaping was ok and was told that it was. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure its illegal to smoke in a restaurant!

We tried to work with the wait staff and asked if we could open one of the two Large garage door windows in an attempt to air the building out, as every breath I took was smoke. When she said yes, I was relieved because I thought we'd get some relief. The waitress opened the Large garage door literally two inches which did little to combat the 8 people vaping! I get it, we're only two people. Were not more important than anyone else, I just thought maybe we could enjoy a nice dinner with out having to suffer. I would not recommend this location to anyone that has breathing problems or just wants to have a nice meal in a smoke free environment! I would love for the owner of this restaurant to reach out to me so that I could further explain how dissapointed I am with this restaurant! It won't let me post without giving it at least one star so they get a freebie as I do not feel they...
