I was thrilled to see Taco Joint move into the area, but I'm not sure this place is going to make it. I was there with my family Saturday night and it was just us and one other table dining. The other table was finished and just talking so it was us and several takeout orders. The issue was we ordered, even repeated and confirmed the order and they still got the order wrong. We asked for fajita tacos, just tortilla and chicken. They brought us tacos fully loaded. They kindly took them back to remake and then...brought it out wrong again. This time fajita tacos with chicken and loaded with cheese. The girl was very apologetic and took them back again for rework. Then she brought them back correct. Third time was a charm. Again, girl was supper nice and apologetic, but our meal was a mess at this point. However, then thing that bothered me the most and triggered me to write this review is that the manager never came over to apologize or just engage with us. Remember, there were only two tables occupied in the whole restaurant. I'm not after anything, but he never stopped by. He was on his phone or chatting behind the counter. I thought what horrible service and bad example for the staff. Surely he noticed all the remaking going on? I give two stars because the food was good, but messing up the order twice and no engagement by the manager loses the...
Read moreI did not realize this place was Tex mex till after I sat down and had already ordered my food. With that being said I was unsatisfied with the food. The tortillas had no flavor at all just out of the package and into the microwave and a bit cold. The meat wasn’t seasoned at all. I really felt like I could have just made this at home if I was in a hurry and wanted a quick bite to eat. Overall this is my fault for not being aware of what kind of food they sell here. I was on the road for most of the day shopping and my family and were craving tacos and we seen the huge sign that said. “TACO JOINT”. It was just not what I was expecting. If you like tacos with lettuce and tomatoes and not a whole lot of seasoning this is the place for you. It was just not for me. If feel like the huge sign was just very misleading it should have said...
Read moreWould give Zero stars if I could.. Last Friday we ordered take out and immediately after eating the Great Gordo breakfast burrito my husband become violently ill. As a new Mom I look forward to the weekends because it means I will have some help.. Not after eating Taco Joint, all night my husband was up throwing up and all day the next day he was sick and exhausted..As other reviews have mentioned the food quality is not up to par at this location and I know for my family we will NEVER be dining here again.
On a side note I did call Taco Joint to let them know about the contamination and was told a manager would be calling me back…. It’s now been 5 days with no call back so I think it’s pretty safe to say this restaurant doesn’t care if their poor food quality makes people...
