  • UPDATE* Wow. It's interesting that when you give an honest opinion about a horrible experience you have at an establishment, that the managers / owners then BAN people you know from the place as retaliation. Direct quote "If he takes down that bad review you came come back in"....how professional. Just goes to show you that the people who run this place don't have a clue on how to run a business. Tick tock. It's only a matter of time before Cosmos is just an afterthought.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Embarrassingly slow service and horrible attitude from the bartender (an Asian guy named Jack or Jackson). He completely ignored us for a good 10 minutes (he was NOT busy) and it got to the point that I had to move around the bar to where he was standing (and not moving) to get his attention. He was way to busy chatting with other people he obviously knew. He was to busy goofing off with who I would assume where friends to do his job and take care of customers at the bar. When he finally did take our order it was like we where a complete inconvenience to his personal social hour. As a first time (and now only time) customer, I was totally offended. I worked restaurants / bars for years and could not believe the way I was treated. I would have loved to make this place a new local hang out for me, but his crap service, and piss poor attitude will make me never step foot into this place again. To the manager / owner - you really should reconsider this guy representing your business. You're most likely losing a significant amount of money, and new business, because of his horrible attitude, complete lack of customer service, and...

We were told by the waitress to go stand in the open area by the bar to put in a to go order and we did as instructed. A lady behind the bar walks over and speaks harshly and very rude and loud telling us to move. My response was a subtle and puzzled statement of (we were only trying to get a to go order ) and she was so rude and started staring at me in a patronizing way. The waiter walked up very nicely apologized for the interaction with sincerity and began to take our order as we moved to the side. The bar was very crowded and we had come here two nights ago and had a great time and amazing food so for this to happen as very unexpected and of course always unwanted. After ordering I was talking to my fiance and she tells over whole looking at me and says I don’t need to be talking about her. The music here is very loud so it was literally impossible for her to hear something like that. I am very offended and appalled especially after asking for management to put a stop to would I considered harassment at this point and she was the manger on duty. Wow so disappointed and still can’t understand why we were treated that way. Totally unacceptable in America period because I’m feeling like maybe it’s because we were the only blacks in the restaurant/bar. Maybe we are not wanted on certain days here. Never coming back til official apology is extended and employee reprimanded for defamation of character as people definitely...

This place came so highly recommended that my friend and I finally gave in and went. It wasn't too busy, but we couldn't get drinks for a long time, literally until I said "maybe we should go and just leave a bad review." Suddenly we got to put an order in. Magic!

I began looking at bad reviews and I noticed a lot of reviews had one thing in common: poor service if someone were black. My friend is. While we waited for our food, I became aware of a movie playing. I don't know the title, but that is the most racist thing I've ever heard in my life. Every horrible word you could call a black person was featured. I distracted my friend from it as long as I could, but he was hurt when he finally saw it. I looked around and noticed everyone -- everyone-- was white. In a diverse place like Dallas, not good.

The food came and we were disappointed. It wasn't bad, but it was tiny and pricy for what it was. We ordered from the well and got charged for a full drink anyway. Our total was $30 for two well drinks and a snack with poor service. I don't understand the hype, but we...

The best Pho in Lakewood! I love supporting local businesses, and Cosmo’s bar, and lounge is one of the many businesses that makes this enjoyable. Cosmo’s is not only known for Chef Jackson’s Vietnamese cuisine, but also it’s eclectic, vintage, (circa 60’s) design, a huge VHS collection, of some of the greatest movies ever released, that constantly entertain, and yummy pizza, even offered by the slice. Many visitors enjoy passing their evening on the rear patio, but I prefer the lively conversations of the diverse guest at the bar, who enjoy ambience, and fair prices of Cosmo’s cocktails, and the Japanese whiskey they added for me. Thank you so much! Sharing is Caring! So I’ll share a couple of my favorites; First, The Oxtail Pho, absolutely delicious, and also in limited supply, so show up early, and the Kimchi Tater Tots, they should be against the law , they’re so good. You can’t go wrong with anything you order at Cosmo’s, so eat up! See you at the bar! Xoxo Lorenzo!

Came here after work around midnight so only had access to the late night menu. I highly recommend the Mekong tacos! Spicy and so flavorful it surprised me, i ordered it twice! The Supreme pizza was really good as well and ordered that twice. All the drinks we got were really tasty and strong. Espresso martini (GAVE ME SO MUCH ENERGY AFTER WORK 😂), Lychee martini (sweet and refreshing), Old fashioned (loved the citrus aroma), and French 75 (sparkly action!). Service was great and friendly. Even the people at the bar were friendly! Very nice atmosphere with the music and moody lighting. Overall was not expecting to enjoy the whole experience as much as I did. Will definately come back for the full menu to try out! Update: Came back for the full menu. The beef pho, kimchi tater tots with pork belly, fried dumplings were all good. I wanted to try the ox tail pho but the soup wasn't ready since it takes a long time to cook. Will come back for it!

Cosmo is a dangerous man that wears state of the art ceramic armor and attack people during breakfasts. He is 5 meters tall and wears a du-rag made from walrus skin, but despite all this cooks moist and supple food that will turn your Tourette’s syndrome into soul shattering poetry about existence of bilingual cuttlefish caught in an eternal battle with the Monsanto corporation. The spicy egg noodle soup is profoundly titillating. Much of my body was broken after a was maimed by a gazelle last Hanukkah and by the grace of Vishnu this soup healed my perforated kindneys and left me feeling like a coked out zumba instructor 😊
