First things first, I am not leaving a 1 star rating for the fun of it. I can justify with a proper explanation. Things did not go bad until the waitress, RACHEL, was told by my friend who was with me that she did not bring out the type of salad my friend asked specifically for. She took an attitude with both of us because of my friend politely saying, "this is not the kind of salad I asked for." When she brought the salad to our table, she just set the plate down and quickly walked away with no expression on her face. It took my order about 30 minutes to be ready! She did not check on us at all; she only came to our table to deliver our food. Also, she never offered to refill my drink, and gave us plastic forks and knives that are for TO-GO orders. Rachel gave all the other customers real metal silverware, and checked on them several times in the 30 minutes of time I waited for my food to be ready. She did not listen very well, and was just a bare minimum server. I asked for a few condiments to go with my meal, and she did not bring ANY OF THEM, and asked 2 times before getting them. I asked for the manager, who was very polite and helpful. He did direct me to go to the cashier, who was our server, but I said, "you can cash me out, I don't want to interact or even speak to my waitress anymore. She never checked on me, never offered to refill my drink, never asked if everything is alright, and gave me plastic forks and knives, did not get the condiments I asked for until asking her at least 2 times, and gave my friend a House Salad when she asked for a COBB SALAD. MY FRIEND ENDED UP SPEAKING WITH THE MANAGER AND ASKED HIM TO REMOVE THE SALAD FROM THE GUEST CHECK RECIEPT, WHICH HE DID WITHOUT ANY ARGUMENTS, AND WAS VERY COOPERATIVE. He agreed to have a serious talk with our server, Rachel, after we left. She probably did not want us to come back. To make a mistake on a food order is one thing. To get an attitude with a customer who got the food item other than what they ask for is beyond improper and completely unethical. In the minds of some customers, it's completely irrelevant if their server is having a good day or a bad day. In the minds if others, they give the benefit of a doubt even if the server does not deserve it for underperformance or just doing the bare minimum. Read moreWe entered the establishment around 10:10-10:15 and the atmosphere was semi busy. There was no wait and a server (not hostess) greeted and sat us a booth near the front. My family and myself preoccupied ourselves with looking over the menu and preparing to give our drink order. After several minutes we noticed that no one came to the table to greet us and acknowledge that they would be serving us. We observed a server going to the booth in back of us and in front of us but she did not come to our table. As she was going to the other tables her and I made eye contact but she did not acknowledge that we were sitting at the table. 5 more minutes have now passed by and the server that sat us passed by at this point and my husband politely asked inquired about our server. Several minutes later the server that walked past us 10 minutes before came to our table to say she was our server. (No apology for walking right by us several times) The server’s name is Jamie and when I asked her why she walked by us several times with no acknowledgment she proceeded to rudely (while rolling her eyes) that her sections were switched multiple times and she didn’t know that our table was her table. I then told Jaime that we wanted to speak to a manager. She then said that the manager is busy. Her attitude at this point was appalling and I did not want her to serve us for fear she would tamper with myself and family’s meal. I requested again for the manager, she rolled her eyes, I then stated that I do not want her to serve us but that I want the manager to serve us. She started to walk off and then stormed back and I quote (“Like I said, the manager is busy. He can’t serve you because he is cooking!”) I told her that the manager cooking is not my problem and I would still like to speak with him. She then stormed off. We didn’t hear anything for several minutes and I observed that the manager was still in cooking area. I then got up and went to the bar/line area where I heard Jamie telling the manager that we were and I quote(“just mad that we were not getting service as fast as we would like!”) I then told her “I can hear you.” Which then she looked surprised and I looked at the manager through the line window and said “Can I speak with you, please!” At that point when Mr. Ventura Avila walked up to me I said at this point I only want the corporate information to speak with someone higher regarding this...
