The Mexican restaurant, El Paisa, may be the smallest in Dallas, but it certainly packs a punch when it comes to delivering delicious food. I have tried various dishes here, but it's their burritos that truly steal the show.
The first thing that strikes me about their burritos is their size. It's hard to believe that a single burrito can be so substantial. Whether I opt for just half or indulge in the entire burrito, I am always left satisfied and sometimes even stuffed. The portions are truly generous, making it a great value for money.
What sets El Paisa apart from other Mexican restaurants is their dedication to creating flavorful rice. Usually, rice and beans are seen as mere accompaniments, but here, the rice takes center stage. It is bursting with flavor, each grain perfectly seasoned, and has a moist and tender texture. It's so good that I find myself not needing to mix it with beans or anything else.
The overall dining experience at El Paisa is delightful. Despite its small size, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that you feel welcomed and well taken care of. The aroma of sizzling meats and spices fills the air, instantly whetting your appetite.
If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine and are looking for a hidden gem, El Paisa is the place to be. Don't let its size fool you; the flavors here are big and bold. Whether you're craving a mouthwatering burrito or want to experience the tastiest rice, this restaurant won't disappoint. Give it a try, and you'll see why El Paisa has earned its reputation as a must-visit Mexican...

Finally a guy walked up and saw us and told the rest of the employees there were customer up front.. Now the little girl taking the order had a very bad attitude and made faces when we questioned the food options. To top it off she still had the nerve to curse in front of us.. Food was good but not good enough for us to want to come back.. Owner should really consider his staff… 1 star because of horrible service even though...
