Gorditas — Restaurant in Dallas

I Ordered in the drive thru with Ana, one pack of 9 gorditas and another pack of 6 gorditas. I asked if they had potatoe Gorditas and Ana said yes. I pull up to the window and they asked me if I had order 14 Gorditas? I told them no, I ordered a pack of 9 and a pack of 6, which totals 15 Gorditas NOT 14. Because the cashier can’t take an order correctly and she CANT EVEN COUNT!!! I told her she charged me the wrong amount, it should be around $35 not $45.30, on the receipt she had 14 Gorditas, after I told her I had order a total of 15 with both packs, she than added another Gordita because she messed up. I asked her nicely to please refund me and charge me again the correct amount as had order. She gave me an attitude and started arguing with me saying No she can’t refund it, because it’s already paid. When it was her fault, not mine! I had to pay $10 extra because she wouldn’t fix her mistake! I called to complaint and they said there was no manager, so I asked for another number where I can complaint because their cashier is very rude and argues with the customers. I was nice and polite and she was so rude. Ana has horrible customer service!!! At least the lady that answered the phone apologized, but I hope the manager gets to see this review. Please make sure you ask for a FAMILY PACK so they don’t do charge you what they want! She didn’t even have potatoes Gorditas, she gave me potatoe with eggs. I didn’t want any eggs, that’s why I asked if they had potatoe before I ordered.

Pedí en el drive thru con Ana, un paquete de 9 gorditas y otro paquete de 6 gorditas. Pregunté si tenían Gorditas de papa y Ana dijo que sí. Me acerqué a la ventana y me preguntaron si había pedido 14 Gorditas. Les dije que no, pedí un paquete de 9 y un paquete de 6, que suman 15 Gorditas, NO 14. ¡Porque la cajera no puede tomar un pedido correctamente y NO PUEDE CONTAR! Le dije que me cobró la cantidad incorrecta, debería ser alrededor de $ 35 no $ 45.30, en el recibo tenía 14 Gorditas, después de que le dije que había pedido un total de 15 con ambos paquetes, ella agregó otra Gordita porque se equivocó . Le pedí amablemente que me reembolsara y me cargara de nuevo la cantidad correcta como había pedido. Ella me dio una actitud y comenzó a discutir conmigo diciendo No, no puede reembolsarlo porque ya está pagado. ¡Cuando fue su culpa, no mía! ¡Tuve que pagar $ 10 extra porque ella no arreglaría su error! Llamé para presentar una queja y me dijeron que no había un gerente, así que pedí otro número donde pueda quejarme porque su cajero es muy descortés y discute con los clientes. Yo fui amable y educado y ella fue tan grosera. Ana tiene un servicio al cliente horrible. Al menos la señora que contestó el teléfono se disculpó, pero espero que el gerente vea esta reseña. Porfavor cuando ordenen asegúrense de pedir como FAMIlY PACK para que no es cobren lo que quieran las cajeras. No siquiera tenía Gorditas de papá, por eso le Pregunte que si tenía antes de ordenar, y me dio las gorditas con papás y huevos, yo no quería huevos!...

Ok, so chose this spot as it seemed to have all day breakfast tacos. It indeed did. I actually called ahead to make sure, the first person I spoke with handed me off to another person that spoke more English. More on that in a bit.

First off, parking is difficult because the parking lot was being torn up for repaving and sidewalk construction.

The place was decently busy, with lots of what I assumed to be locals. Standard taco spot items, including your multicolored beverages and of course horchata.

Based on the initial phone call I figured there would be a language issue for me - my Spanish is quite basic. Sure enough, when I ordered I tried to get them to make me a migas taco, which is not on the menu. Migas plate is, and comes with rice, beans, and tortillas. Yea, I could have gotten the plate and made my own tacos… but I wanted what I wanted! Anyways, I couldn’t effectively communicate what I wanted, so I went for what was actually on the menu and got potato and egg tacos. Asking them to add cheese was another ride on the poor Spanish skills struggle bus, but I made it.

The tacos themselves were of course made fresh and pretty tasty, they came with a small packet of a red sauce that was rather spicy. Overall satisfying. I was a little disappointed about not being able to get what I wanted, but that’s on me, not them.

I don’t think I’d return, nothing special enough to make me go out of my way to visit. Standard...

Alas personas que trabajan el drive thru no les importa dar buen servicio. Se queda uno parado por 3 minutos oh mas antes que saluden por la maquina. Les pedi 2 ordenes separadas y me hechan las gorditas en 1 plato. Aparte de eso la orden de una gordita puro frijol tenia queso. No les importa darte la orden correcta. No recomiendo comprar en este lugar almenos que tengas tiempo que gastar.

English: Do not come here unless you've got time to waste. The drive thru service is not what it should be. They take about 3 minutes or more just to greet you at the thrive thru entrance. I ordered 2 seperate orders and I received them in 1 plate, after I had just told them at the drive thru to place them in seperate plates. They could care less about getting the order correct;a gordita that was supposed to be all bean had cheese in it. Not to mention they take about 10 minutes, sometimes even more to give you the food...
