I supposed we came on an off day? But my dinner was largely a disorganized mess. I know they're new and they're probably still working out the kinks.
Cons: The server messed up some of our group's order. Since they completely forgot one woman's dish, they tried to rush it, which led to the eggplant being totally burnt. You could smell the burn. She had to return it. I got the shrimp on eggplant puree, and it was odd. The shrimp part was good, but the puree was thick and gooey and didn't make much sense being paired with the shrimp, or the pickled onions and cilantro they put on it (I scrapped 90% of it off). It was puzzling. No one else complained about their dishes but no one raved about any aspect of it either. Last of all was the check. We split it individually and for one woman they quoted $70. She said, "For a salad and two drinks?" The server said yes, no hesitation. Then we asked for a breakdown. They immediately corrected it to $37. WHAT?!?!
Pros: The complimentary bread and olives/olive oil was good. The server was very nice, just probably needs more experience. She gave us free baklava to make up for...

The food is outstanding. The mezze platter was full of flavor—creamy hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, and warm, fluffy pita that we couldn’t stop eating. The seafood was cooked perfectly, especially the grilled octopus and sea bass, which tasted so fresh and flavorful. The lamb was tender and seasoned just right, and even the vegetarian dishes were delicious and full of life.
Dessert was the perfect ending. The baklava was light, crisp, and dripping with honey, and the yogurt with walnuts and honey was refreshing and not too sweet.
The service made the whole experience even better—friendly, attentive, and so genuine. It felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s home.
This place doesn’t just serve amazing food—it makes you feel like you’re dining by the sea in Greece. Truly unforgettable and a spot I’ll be coming back to...
Read moreThis place is beautiful. I was extremely excited to try it because the place before it was amazing and it’s blocks from home. It’s also central to Bishop Arts so plenty to do before or after dinner. I love eggplant so got that as a starter and the passion fruit martini because I was told it wouldn’t be sweet. I also noted I didn’t want sweet. The eggplant dip barely had any eggplant; more tomato if that’s what you’re looking for and the cocktail came out sweet. I was a solo diner and understand that usually comes with less than attentive service but I had taken a few bites of my appetizer and tasted my cocktail and didn’t get anyone to check on me. I was ready to order for dinner as well but I just didn’t feel welcomed or comfortable to stay. I clearly wasn’t eating my food but the entire time there was a team of four of five servers taking about their schedule and other things. I’m supposed to bring a group of 20 there next week which they also knew so hopefully maybe if we still go I can update...
