I'm going to review this restaurant based on the fact that THEIR FOOD IS GREAT, FAIR PRICES AND GOOD SERVICE IN GENERAL, and on the fact that what i saw raises way more questions and doubts about the CLEANLINESS a restaurant MUST HAVE AT ALL TIMES. This place is a good place to go and eat and enjoy the food, as long as you don't " look around". The first thing it raises concerns to me was the bathrooms, both me and my girlfriend used them and let me tell you, the smell could be foul, and not because someone went before us, is just a foul sewer smell that is not pleasant to deal with, I don't know if this was a one ocassion only or does it happens constantly, but it must be addressed. The second thing I found bad with this place is the "grape vines and bottles" hanging from the ceiling, if you look closely all of it if covered in dust and god knows what else, and believe it, all this stuff is slowly falling into your food and drinks, this is something that is UNNECESSARY AND USELESS as an atmosphere thing, cleanliness is PARAMOUNT in a restaurant. The third thing is the fact that their "water" is straight up from the tap, I am gonna go in a leap of faith and hope they have a WHOLE RESTAURANT FILTRATION SYSTEM, because under the sink they serve you the water, i didn't saw any filtration system for it. So, if not, then you drink straight tap water, which may not be bad, but we all know how pipes of 30 or 40 years old can be on the inside, like i said, im giving the benefit of doubt in this one, because I had no certain way to know. The fourth thing i dont like, in my opinion is HAVING CARPET IN THE DINING AREA, do you know how much dust and microbes a carpet with that amount of traffic harvest and fly all around even when we don't see it??? I don't know how carpet is allowed in a main dining area, it should not be allowed, no matter how much you vacuum or clean, it is a microbes nest waiting to get in your food. And the fifth one and the one that probably will make us not coming back there for some time is BLACK MOLD LESS THAN 2 FEET WHERE YOUR FOOD IS PREPARED OR SERVED, yes, you read it right, BLACK MOLD, and this is under the sink you get your water served and I think your salads served too. I noticed some things on buckets which i believe it was lettuce or some dressing for salads, which left me speechless, if this is the case, and for your own good, DO NOT EAT SALAD HERE, this is a terrible thing to "not see" first by the waiters/food servers and then for the management to ignore such a blatant HEALTH ISSUE, because this raises the worst doubt in my mind "If this is how it is in places I can see, how it is in places i can't see, like inside their kitchen, where all our food is prepared. I sincerely hope the management step up in here and really focus on their cleaning aspects, no excuse is valid to have black mold inside a restaurant, NONE. I hate to be a "Karen" , because I truly like their food, but to me who I worked in the restaurant industry for years in the kitchen, I know how important is to have a clean place to serve food and this "little things" could resonate really hard into clients about the care the restaurant puts into their meal prepping. All of this things are really easy fixable for the manager and the employees. The picture attached is what i saw so people don't say "ohh you're just making sh!t up" ....no , I am not.

This is the best neighborhood Italian restaurant you can find. I drive from Allen to Dallas for the last 18 years to continue to come here. I've been going to this place for decades and it's still the same amazing food every time. The same cooks have been there for 40 years. I remember a time back in about 1995 that I placed an order over the phone for a lunch special and on the way I realized I left my wallet at home. I called them right away to cancel and he told me not to worry about it catch them the next time! That same man still works there and I will not forget their hospitality. The food is always amazing. Everything they make is fresh and super rich. The alfredo sauce is the best I've ever had, it is crazy rich and very garlic heavy. I love the shrimp dishes, any of them, large fresh shrimp cooked right every time. My 10 year old son said it was the best food he's every had, he's now 12 and still asks to go to Two Guys all the time. What I hate to see is the decline in traffic, I feel this is because the place isn't some trendy spot that looks pretty. This is a true neighborhood gem. I hope that people keep this place going for another 40 years. It really is worth a visit!

This place is a good place to go and eat and enjoy the food, as long as you don't " look around".

I do not often do reviews, but I Felt it to be an injustice if I do not let you all know I’m visiting my daughter that lives in Arlington and I am from Myrtle Beach South Carolina. They recommended an Italian restaurant which I love Italian food so we arrive to this location two guys from Italian cuisine me being a foodie that has been in the industry for 25 years. I entered with an open mind as soon as I walked in I felt that I was in the episode of kitchen nightmares inside of the restaurant was dirty. I felt dirty sitting in there. I looked at the outdated decor staff sitting around that to me was a strike one. I ordered the chicken marsala, a great disappointment. It was swimming in water down sauce. The initial bread basket we received was hard must’ve been from the day before the meal was a complete disappointment. I asked who I assumed was the owner manager if they had any fresh Parmesan so I can put on my chicken marsala and he pointed to the store-bought grated Parmesan cheese in the little Parmesan cheese dispensers on the table And to my surprise I asked them again if they have any fresh and he replied with. Oh yeah, we graded that by hand which me being in the industry for over 25 years the difference between fresh grade and Parmesan and store-bought I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. It is a sad excuse for an Italian restaurant and the cuisine is not authentic. I could tell by the product that my son-in-law had which was chicken Alfredo was bag chicken chunks a huge disappointment I would never come back to this restaurant, even if I was starving steer clear from two guys from Italy...

I was excited to try this place but we left disappointed. The service was very good, and the restaurant is very quaint and cute. The free bread sticks were good, the wine was ok, and the minestrone soup was delicious so we were excited for the entrees. My husband got the tortellini with bolognese and I got the shrimp scampi with spaghetti and red clam sauce. Both dishes were incredibly watery. The tortellini seemed like it wasn’t drained well enough so water was pooled at the bottom of the plate, and the “bolognese” tasted like jarred marinara with ground beef. Not terrible, but comparable to something you’d get at Olive Garden. The dish I got was described on the menu as shrimp sautéed in butter, garlic, white wine and oregano in a red clam sauce. The menu said it would be a side of pasta and maybe I misunderstood, but it was all mixed together. Which would have been fine, but it was so watery it was more like soup than sauce. The clams were so fishy tasting that I could barely eat them and the shrimp were very chewy and not a good texture. There were a lot of them though. I ended up just eating the spaghetti and not the clams or shrimp. The portion sizes were very generous. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but the taste of my dish was not good and so soupy/watery. We left fairly disappointed since this place has what appeared to be...
