Last night my husband and I left Baylor at midnight. This Jack in the box was the closest location to get food, we'd been there awhile getting my pregnancy checked out. So we were hungry. So we pull in, there are about 6 cars in front of us. No big deal. We wait for what seemed like forever finally to get to order...about 20 minutes. The kid at the drive thru taking orders couldn't understand what I wanted, 2 tacos, 2 loaded fries, 1 with chicken and the other no meat. Plus an egg and cheese biscuit. And 2 medium drinks. Dr. pepper and sprite. So finally another person gets on. Has my order correct. There are 2 cards in front of us now. Cool. So we wait and wait. Another 10 minutes. Its about 12:30 now. 30 minutes in that drive thru! So finally we get up to the window and pay. The kid at the window asks us what are drinks are. Really? I just ordered them dude! So he gives them to us. Then asks us for condiments. I tell him hot sauce for the tacos please. He hands us our bag. I check my biscuit and the fries with no meat and ASSUME everything else was in the bag. We drive 25 minutes to get home. It's after 1 now. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and hungry and tired. Get home take food out and there are no freaking tacos. The "LOADED" fries cartoon are half filled up on both of ours. Yes, I checked mine but it was dark and I was really looking for no meat. My husband's Dr Pepper was not filled up. I expected for waiting over 30 minutes in the drive thru for all my food to be there and correct. I won't be going back there. I just wanted to share my experience. It was very frustrating. I hope the manager reads this and talks to his night crew. Because after waiting for 30 min. You just want to get your food and eat. You're there because you're hungry right? Especially after just getting out...
Read moreThis has got to be the worst Jack in the Box in Dallas. I've gone here many times and many times they've gotten my order wrong and I don't complain because I'm just not that person. But yesterday took the cake and I will NEVER AGAIN visit this particular location even though it's less than 3 minutes from my home.
I ordered the Munchie Mash up and a chicken tater melt...both dishes that require hash browns. I paid for my food and was asked to pull up to wait. I also ordered another sandwich and another side item. The chicken melt was mine and the mash up was for my boyfriend. When I got home my boyfriend opened his food and laughed. They'd given him egg rolls instead of the mash up! I was going to take it back but he wouldn't let me as I had been running errands all day and he knew how hot I was. He told me he was fine with the eggrolls and to just calm down. He ate before I did and I had not looked at my own food yet. Once I did, I was shocked to find the hash brown missing from my sandwich, but immediately knew what happened. They were out of hash browns. But instead of telling me "I'm sorry ma'am, we can't make this order" they decided to just give me what they thought I should have and an incomplete sandwich. I would have been completely fine with ordering something else had they just asked what I'd like instead. That's NOT what they did. They decided FOR me and didn't even mention it when they brought my food to my car. I feel so disrespected by this action. Screw me and my order, you'll eat what we give you. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION AND FEEL THE OWNER SHOULD KNOW EXACTLY WHY HE/SHE LOST A CUSTOMER. Incompetent, disrespectful staff that needs to...
Read moreWhat can you expect with fast food? The service I got was terrible. Stopped by around 2pm for lunch to pick up at the drive thru. The woman was short and rude with me. When I got the thr pick up window she hands me my drink and quickly says something that I don't understand and slams the window shut. I had to wait and ask her what she said because of this since she didn't wait for me to respond like okay or sure. I had to wave at her and then I asked her to repeat herself and she was telling me to pull around up front. Got it. I waited a while for my food. When I got my food they had given me bbq because they didn't ask me what sauce I wanted with my tenders. I had asked for curly fries and they gave me regular fries. I was able to get them to switch out the bbq sauce for ranch but they were hesitant to do so and that was very frustrating. I told her sorry I don't like bbq sauce can I get ranch instead and she says well you got bbq sauce. Wow. Couldn't believe it. I let her know I am not going to eat the bbq and so please switch it out with ranch and she did after that. Very frustrating interaction with the two women employees.
But the heroes of this story were the chicken tenders. Always so juicy and deliciously breaded. The fries even though they were regular and not curly, like I had originally wanted, were delicious too. Not soggy and not overdone. They gave me plenty of ketchup and ranch (after I asked twice). So the food was awesome and that's really why I go to fast good places, for good quick food and not for...
