Juanitas Panadería — Restaurant in Dallas

Probably my new favorite in Dallas! Usually I have a sensitive palate and can taste when the bread has too much lard, but in this case everything was delicious and not too "heavy" like some places can be. It's super out of my way but damn if I won't be making some weekend trips for good pan here.

I'd also like to say that this is one of the friendlier panaderias I've been to; I fully speak/understand Spanish but my first language is English so that's my default. I was shocked because they had such a high rating. I was disappointed with the bread we got. Maybe it was because it was a sunday evening and bread was old. I'm not sure what happened. I was happy to see a bakery open so late on the weekend, so we were excited to visit. We noticed they didn't have much to pick from.. no conchas at all. we took a few different peaces, and it was all stail, and some were even dry. The ones that have cheese fillings didn't have much inside. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because I did like the campechana. I'm was so disappointed...

People here are always nice. The place smells so so good every time. I do have to say the bread is 4 out 5 it's really good and I mean all the bread they have. It's all good been going since we found out from our friends. I recommend the donuts 🍩 they are so so so good but must eat right away.
